We stayed here for 4 days and are super happy with our stay. The location is perfect and it's a short walk away from all the shops you need including transport. The shopping street is a stone throw away and the staff there is lovely too. We will be back!

User

We are currently staying here now.. We have had very good service from the front desk associates (we had issues with the washer/dryer being locked all the time due to a child safety lock). Our studio is perfect for our needs and we are on the inner side of the apartments over looking the rooftop. I feel this is the much quieter side of the building.

As for our furnishings.. We are very satisfied with all of the things we have in our unit (washer/dryer, refrigerator, 2 burner stove top, microwave, oven, toaster, and all pots, pans, and dinnerware).

We will definitely be staying here again next year!

My sister and I visited Chelsea Cloister last week and we loved it! Our room was brand new, super clean, and had everything we needed! The location is perfect, right in the middle of Chelsea and all the staff were lovely! Really recommend the in house bar too! We will be returning!

User

Me and my friend stayed for 2 weeks while looking for a flat and it was great! It's an amazing location, the rooms are nice and clean and the staff are lovely! We didn't want to move in the end...really recommend it!

User

It is a ver y good place to stay for Long or short time. Close to the tube and in the midle of one of the Best locations. All the personal very nice and each problem Was resolve fast and in short time. The reception and the administration super. I have a Great time there. I Will be back. Thanks for all.

User

I use to live in Chelsea Cloisters a bit more than 6 months))

The building decorations are old but still clean . Carpeted old but the plus is that the staff are constantly monitoring the cleanliness. I have nothing in common to the Hotel Reception since I live in a private apartment - ( self catering ) but you can take the maid for an additional charge by your choice . In this building all the apartments are different sizes and it is difficult to judge . Huge Plus : Very convenient location , walking distance to many restaurants and shops, night clubs . You just need to determine what is more important to you. Normally two peas on the same spoon does not happen. A solid three out of five.

Had a lovely weekend staying with Chelsea Cloisters. We got a brand new room with all the equipments you need to be able to cook in your apartment and very clean. The location is amazing and there is a supermarket just downstairs which is very ideal. Transport that goes to everywhere and lovely staff! Also very valuable.

User

Great location, walking distance to a lot of sights. Room was compact, full kitchenette with dishes , shower had lots of hot water. Room was clean, services daily, staff were friendly and helpful. The room was basic, but for the price in London and the ability to make a meal is great. Will stay here twice more before I return to Nevada.

Me and my partner stayed here the weekend just gone. It was in a good location to watch Wicked at the Apollo Victoria.

When we arrived we used the underground car park next door. £30 for 24 hours (discounted rate for people staying at Cloisters). On the Sunday morning (just before our 24 hours was up) I then moved my car to one of the roads next to the apartments as it is free parking on a Sunday.

We stayed in the older side where the apartments havent yet been renovated. The reception area is lovely but as you go upstairs it's very out dated and I could smell smoke, weed and stale beer around the corridors. The room had what we needed, it was very worn though, sink tap broke in the bathroom, couldn't get the bath taps to work (shower worked though) and in the living room there was no settee it was two single beds pushed together. Also some of the electrical points didn't work. If I had paid £136 for this room in my area I would have given it 1 star but for this area this price was the best by far and we didn't spend much time in the room. There is a sainsburys local very close by and we had an uber driver pick us up and take us to the theatre which cost us around £6 which is great.

The main problem was the noise. We were in bed for 10pm on saturday (im only 31 but a day of driving and sight seeing had knocked me for 6) and lorries were emptying bins outside. It was really noisy. Then before 7am there were delivery drivers outside shouting. It didn't bother us too much but may be a problem if you have young children. Although it wasn't great I would much rather stay here than pay another £100 to stay at a hotel and not really be in it.

User

For were it is situated it is value for money. Apartment was clean. It is oh so noisy. No double glazing and in Sloane avenue a busy road. Earplugs recommended for a decent nights sleep. Not luxery but for a Saturday night out 6 mins from Harrods £65.00 each sleeps 4 comfortably and Parking outside Sainsbury's free 6.00pm to 13.00 on the Sunday

User

Unfortunately, I only can recommend the bed and the housekeeping of the Chelsea Cloisters. The room was clean, the windows broken, very leaky, old and not double glazed, the bathroom bloody cold (due to the windows..). I informed the reception about the broken (not closable) windows and the Janitor fixed them (at least) with TAPE... the decor in the room is old - but clean.

It isn't really worth the money. The only luxury thing I saw in this house is the lobby... Sorry!

User

terrible in every ways, stay clear of this bug hotel, looks much nicer in the pictures, room didnt live up to the pictures, rude staff, silverfish in the bathroom and kitchen, mouldy washer, no curtains, badly fitted blinds, no aircondition, couldn have window open cos then the doves came flying in, we stayed there for 3 weeks, thankfully we travelled a lot other places visiting family and such, would gone crazy if staying put there for 3 weeks, bad bad bad

User

Terrible!! I understand some maintenance issues cost a lot of money and I'm ok with that... I am not ok with the fact that this place is filthy!! A disgrace to be exact!! It does not cost to maintain a level of cleanliness!! The pictures online are misleading!! This should be rated budget and not 3 star!!!

User

Terrible hotel. The service is appalling, rooms are small and hot. I do not recommend.

User

TERRIBLE!!!! If I can I will give 0 star.

Totally don't recommend anyone spending money for this awful place. The room is totally different from the pictures they show on website of Facebook. Especially the toilet has lots of mold. There were even dead mosquitos on the wall when we first arrived.

Also, the staff are super unfriendly and unhelpful. Talking to them feels like I owed them money or something.

No one should spend such money for this

Sad but fun end of my visit to London. This evening I suddenly found water drowning from the roof of my apartment rent via Booking. Place is called Chelsea Cloisters.

So I called to the reception and they said they will send someone. Then this guy from the video came to the room, took a look and went to the upper floor. Came back 15 minutes later saying “no problem there”. I asked “and where is the problem?”. He said “I called to manager, problem will be solved”. Not a friendly talk really when you have you flight tomorrow and intend to pack suitcase and spend last evening in London in pub, but in this mess. He said “they will do all the work and clean the place”.

I left the apartment in 10pm, got back in 11:30pm and found those two gentlemen in first video saying that “we need to wait till the morning, nothing could be done right now, manager told us that”. So I need to sleep in filthy wet room with water drowning from the top, because they don’t have proper community services and didn’t repair water system?!

I packed my things. Rent a room in nice hotel nearby via HotelTonight app (very helpful cauz Booking provide me with next day arrival after midnight).

Videos provided enough evidences of the way how guests are treated in Chelsea Cloisters. I can expect it anywhere, but not in the center of London. What a hospitality!

P.S. Can't attach videos to this review, but you can find it on my facebook page easily)

Not quite as luxurious as the website would like you to believe. The decor is tired and corridors were not very fresh and the armchair in the room was stained. It was however comfortable with clean beds and towels and is incredibly central. For one night only it was fine but not recommendable.

User

Disastrous apartment, dirty, nothing works on the kitchen, we could not even cook. Cold water did not work. Disgustingly dirty oven, windows that do not close. We had to throw away the food because it was full of ants, ants all over the apartment.

We booked the apartment for 2 adults and 2 children and there were only cutlery and chairs for 3.

We warned for to repair and they didn’t NOTHING. REALLY very BAD and DISASTROUS apartment.

User

Just got home after 3 nights here. We are not gonna stay here once more. The apartment was not like the pictures. One of the beds had a really bad madrass and the windows did not shut out the noise from the street. We were 4 people that got 3 bathtowels. Asked for one more but never got it.

The only good thing was the location and clean rooms. And luckely we didn’t get the apartment with the mouse....
