Maurizio Sarri has said Emerson still plays an important role at Chelsea but has also said, Marcos Alonso is picked because of his presence around free kicks.
Indicating his height plays a huge part on why he plays so many games for Chelsea.
Do you agree with Sarri?

Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri slammed his players' attitude and felt they were overconfident after a shock 2-1 loss to Wolves on Wednesday.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek got the opener for Chelsea at the Molineux but Chelsea fell to second-half goals from Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota, which saw the hosts claim a surprise Premier League win.
The result saw Sarri's side slide to fourth in the table, 10 points behind champions Manchester City ahead of their clash with the league leaders... on Saturday.
Sarri believes the defeat to Wolves may help Chelsea as he commended Pep Guardiola's high-flying City.
"As I said before, City are the best in Europe, maybe in the world, they can win or not the Champions League, but that depends on the moments," he told a news conference.
"Last season I think City were the best team in the Champions League, but then for two matches they played maybe not in the best moment of the City.
"If you have to play against them for 10 months they are the best in the world, I think, at the moment. So the match is difficult for this reason.
"Of course, after this match we lost confidence, but maybe it is better. Sometimes my players show me that they have too much confidence."
Sarri made five changes to the team that beat Fulham on Sunday, with Jorginho and David Luiz among the unused substitutes.
Asked about his selection, the Italian played down the impact of the changes, saying he was unhappy with the way his side suffered defeat.
"If you had asked me the same question after 55 minutes I would say yes, I was really very happy [with the selection]," he said.
"We lost everything, our football, the result, everything for an accident, a goal. It can happen, but I don't think it depends on the changes.
"It depends on the mentality of the team, I think. It was without reaction, we can lose a match, but not without a reaction."

Fabregas: "I'm at happy at Chelsea, but it's clear that every player wants to play more. I haven’t talked to anyone, but it’s obvious that if I don't sign a renewal then I can do a deal with someone from January. Will I stay until the end of the season? For now I can say yes.” Fabregas: "I will play in the Premier League now. In December I will play games. I already know which games I will play and I am ready for it. I have spoken to the coach. He has been straight-forward wi...th me and I need to be ready for when the opportunity comes. That's it." Fabregas: "I know that [Sarri] rates me highly but at the same time it's a new position and I think it is just my 5th game starting in it. I only played there when I was 10 or 12 in the academy at Barca. It is something new to learn but I can also give more in other positions." Fabregas: "Maybe at the moment, he still doesn't see it. We have had a chat about it and maybe in the future it will start to happen. But at the moment it is what it is and you just have to take it."

MATT LAW'S COMMENTS ON HAZARD
Matt Law: "It wouldn't have been about going to a bigger club, it would have been about his own personal happiness. He's got the smile back now. It's been a fantastic start for Chelsea and if you get Hazard firing you've always got a chance"
Matt Law: "His numbers are ridiculous at the moment. With Belgium in 27 games it's 14 goals and 14 assists, that's Messi and Ronaldo level of numbers. He's already got five goals for Chelsea. He's really inf...luencing matches, taking over games and has stepped up a level now"
Matt Law: "When Hazard gave an interview that he wanted to go to Real Madrid, Chelsea never really had any worries about him. They were categorical that they were not going to sell him and they knew he was not going to kick off. They were relaxed by the fact he would be fine"
Matt Law: "Chelsea knew he would not go AWOL like Courtois. They knew Hazard would not sulk. There was no panic at Chelsea and that told you everything about him as a lad and a character."
Matt Law: "Whether the Real Madrid link has gone or comes back, if Hazard stays at Chelsea for the rest of his career I think he will be perfectly happy as long as he is playing in a team that allows him to be free and score he will be happy."
Matt Law: "That was the problem at the end of Conte's tenure. He didn't feel free and there was a real big fear at Chelsea that if Conte had stayed that would be when Hazard would look to go." #CFC

Kovacic: Sarri & Chelsea believe in me
The new Blues signing says he "needs to feel wanted" after three inconsistent seasons at Real Madrid
Mateo Kovacic says he has found a coach who believes in him in the form of Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri following his move from Real Madrid.
... The Blues signed Kovacic on a season-long loan from the Liga giants as part of the deal that saw goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois go the other way.
The 24-year-old, who made five appearances as Croatia reached the World Cup final in Russia, came on to make his Blues debut in Chelsea's 3-2 win over Arsenal.
And, having helped Sarri's side maintain their winning start to the season, the midfielder revealed he is thrilled to be working under former Napoli boss Sarri.
"I am happy because of victory, the most important is that team played good," Kovacic told Sport Klub TV.
"I feel fine, I miss rhythm but I just joined the team. I am working fine and improving.
"It was important for me after three years without continuity of play in Madrid, to find a team and coach that want me, and that happened in Chelsea.
"The club who wanted me and the coach that believes in me. That is what I need.
"Sarri knows me for a long time and I watched a lot of his matches. He loves to play, the team is great, with a lot of big players. I don't expect it to be hard for me to adapt."
Kovacic will be hoping to continue his revival under Sarri when the Blues face Newcastle United at St James' Park next Sunday.

Alvaro Morata insists he is here to stay at Chelsea
Alvaro Morata is adamant he is at Chelsea for the long haul following a summer of huge uncertainty over his future.
The former Real Madrid striker got off the mark for the season on Saturday, scoring in his side’s thrilling 3-2 win over Arsenal.
... The strike offered positive signs that Morata can overcome his difficult first season at Stamford Bridge to play an integral role under recently appointed manager Maurizio Sarri.
Constantly photographed in Turin, the 25-year-old looked certain to return to former club Juventus over the summer.
Indeed, Morata has confirmed he could have moved back to Spain or Italy ahead of the new season, but the challenge of proving himself in the Premier League was one the striker could not leave behind.
‘There was never a thought for me to leave. For me, it’s easy. I could have gone back to Spain or Italy, all the people believe in me there but I want to change all the things here,’ he said.
‘I want to, not for all the haters, but for me and for Chelsea.’
The Spaniard seems genuine, too; revealing he is in the process of buying a house near Chelsea’s Surrey training base, a clear indication he sees a long future with the club.
And Morata is hopeful Sarri’s forward-thinking approach will help unearth the form that made him one of the world’s most feared centre forwards after hinting previous manager Antonio Conte’s style stifled him.
‘I am looking forward to buying a house and I can’t wait for the babies to grow up to put them into school,’ he added.
‘I am very happy and it’s just the beginning of the new season. Why would I not be happy? I want to change all the thinking from the people who say I’m not.
‘It’s the only reason I stay here, otherwise if Chelsea said you are not in our plans, I move.’
On Sarri’s impact, Morata added: ‘He works with the ball always and when you always have the ball you have more chances and the strikers have more chances.

Agent: 'Jorginho enjoying Chelsea adventure’
Jorginho’s agent says the midfielder is enjoying his Chelsea ‘adventure’ and has been pleasantly surprised by the club’s Neapolitan following.
Jorginho has slotted into Chelsea’s seamlessly after following Maurizio Sarri to Stamford Bridge, and Joao Santos revealed how 50 Neapolitans greeted him at the end of Saturday’s 3-2 win against Arsenal.
... “Jorginho has started his adventure at Chelsea very well,” he told Radio CRC.
“He’s already integrated himself, plus he also speaks English well, so he’s not having any problems settling.
“When a player is good, he can play in any League. Stereotypes matter little. If a player has quality, they can make the grade anywhere.
“He’s very happy with how the match against Arsenal went. There were 50 Neapolitans who cheered him on and asked for photos and autographs.
“This is why we love Naples and we’ll continue to. Their support has continued in London. Jorginho has many friends in Naples, like Mertens and Insigne.
“He heard from them after Napoli’s win against Lazio and complimented the team.” #CFC
