FOSTERING MUSICAL DEVELOPMENT IN CHILDREN

The aim of the Chelsea Quavers workshops is to bring the magical world of music to children in a fun and relaxed environment. Developed over a number of years, our workshops are imaginatively designed to enable children to explore the multi-faceted world of music in all its key components. Our children come back year after year.

Our workshops combine individual tuition with focused group interaction. Children are taught in small groups relevant to age and ability, and each child benefits from individual 1: 1 tuition. Beginners are as welcome as those with musical experience.

Our workshops bring laughter, creative learning and self-confidence. As a result, many of our children are inspired to progress to learning an instrument and developing their interest in music.

We set the standard for nurturing the fundamental components of well-rounded young musicians.

Music is a holistic, multi-faceted subject. Effective learning of music draws on a number of skills, which form the basis of our workshop activities. These include:
