We held a family reunion in the bar Friday 6th October. Professional hospitality from Simone, in particular, who went out of her way to ensure we were all comfortable and well served and we were very impressed that she had got all of our names (11 people) within an hour of arrival. Simone is a credit to the team and the establishment. Good light lunch menu at a sensible price.

Attended a company event here and stayed as an overnight guest. Staff were very friendly, meeting rooms were fit for purpose and bedrooms very comfortable. Also used the swimming pool and sauna which were good.

Quiet location close to Cheltenham (5 miles). Room was modern and spacious. Bar and restaurant quality was high. Outside patio area nicely kept. We had a lovely stay

Docked one star for poor care & serving of beer. Bottled beer (cask hand pull was off) stored with lagers etc in the fridge which is too cold. Should be 10-13 degree C. Served flat with excuse that it was from a bottle not the tap. Lack of training. Roast pork was fantastic and the creme brulee a perfect dessert. Only one loo roll in the bathroom, smacks of accountants who don't understand customer service. Lift door struggled to open on arrival at 1st floor unless you pushed the door button. All small details, would I stay there again? Yes but attention to small details make the difference between 3 & 4 stars. On the whole nice hotel for our corporate rate but any more would be too much. Staff were attentive and friendly.

Plush, luxurious and spacious bedrooms that are very quiet (or good soundproofing!). Very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great spa and pool facilities too. Only slight (very slight) downside for lone business travellers/couples/small groups is that the breakfast can turn into a near full scale bun fight. The hotel appears to attract enormous coach groups of foreign tourists or pensioners that appear to have a) all the time in the world and b) little in the way of manners. No reflection on the staff though as they appear to be well versed in dealing with such situations, the buffets are quickly replenished and the after effects of the quasi-swarm are short lived.

Never usually complain but bitterly dissapointed in our experience, especially for for price. Genuinely would have preffered travel lodge.
Supposed to be a romantic get away for our anniversary, as advertised as a luxury spa hotel.... luxury it is not.
Its bland and corporate, facilities poor for price but biggest gripe was standard of service. Dinner was a disaster, never offered a drink and made to wait 10 mins before anyone came to seat us. Dirty pots not taken away and for the price (£25 for a steak) the food was a rip off.
There are MUCH nicer hotels for cheaper. Go elsewhere- I wish we did. Waste of money.

The room was nice, pastries were good. Generally the staff were very friendly. Somehow the hotel ran out of rooms for our visitors (client meeting) however they found similar rooms in nearby hotels.
