We need caring, hard-working and enthusiastic support workers who are passionate about providing a quality care service to adults within their own homes. The types of duties that you will be expected to carry out include helping our Clients in their own homes to dress, wash, prepare meals a...nd administer medication.
Our ideal candidate would have (or be working towards) an NVQ level 2 / 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care, however we believe you cannot teach people to care, that comes naturally so don’t worry if you have no formal experience or qualifications. We will give you all the training you need to become an excellent carer. Pay starts at £8.20 but many of our carers in Wigan earn more than this as pay reflects experience and qualifications gained.

Great work from our Rochdale team!

And we’re finished!!! Thanks to Pam and her team at Compassion in Action over 200 families will receive a Christmas dinner food hamper and childrens gifts.
Herculean efforts from the Cherish team, Wigan Council, Tesco, Asda and Wigan Housing volunteers to get all of the gifts wrapped!
