I try to paint light, sunshine and happiness into my artwork. Sun, sea, snow and people are my favourite subjects. I hope my work makes you smile too.

I was born and bred in Sussex, too many years ago to mention. Suffice to say my first love was always art and design. I had great ideas of doing dress design at college after achieving good 'O' and 'A' level results in Art, Needlework and English. Sadly it never happened as my wonderful, but very strict father, did not have a high opinion of Art Colleges and put his foot down with a heavy hand. I had my own boutique until I had my children and then became a full time mum.
"I work mainly in acrylics or oils and enjoy portraiture, seascape and landscape. I have recently ventured into the world of character seagulls who seem to have captured some attention! "
