Childminder

My name is Jane Bean and I would like to welcome you to Cherry Trees Childminding. I live with my husband, our two children, along with our two cats and two rabbits.

After previously finding childcare for my eldest son, understand what an emotional roller-coaster it can be finding the right person to look after your little ones. From my training, I have an understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage to teach them and help them to develop and grow into happy confident children, in a safe and caring environment.

About the Setting:

We live in a lovely 3 bed detached house in Boxgrove, close to Chichester. The children have lots of space inside to play, using our living room and conservatory, we have an enclosed private garden. The children have access to lots of toys, books, arts and crafts!

The children will have use of the following rooms:

• Living room – This is the main room which has all the toys, books and other exciting things. Children will have an area for quiet time if they are not sleeping and reading books on the rug.

• Kitchen – This is where all the arts and crafts take place (in the winter) as well as baking lots of lovely things.

• Conservatory – The is plenty of natural light, toys and games for the children and arts and crafts (during the Spring, Summer and Autumn – on colder days we will use the kitchen)

• Garden – The children will have lots of time to play outside in the garden. We will have lots of outdoor games and toys, a play house, sand and water play and will be growing our own vegetables.

• Bedroom – There is a bedroom for any children that will require a sleep during the day. This is my eldest son’s room as he no longer requires a nap during the day.

Hours and days open:

Cherry Trees Childminding is open from 8. 00 am – 6: 00 pm Monday to Friday both term time and throughout school holidays. I offer extensions to these hours as well as ad-hoc babysitting can be arranged by request.

I am closed all public and bank holidays and no charge will be made for these days. We will also be closed for two weeks over Christmas and New Year.

Rates:

I charge £5. 00 an hour, meals can be included for an additional cost, which includes breakfast, lunch, tea and snacks throughout the day.

I charge £8. 00 per hour before 8. 00am and after 6. 00pm.
