Cherwell Events calendar can now be seen on our website events page. We have SJ and Arena XC hire throughout the Christmas holidays and also arena hire in our warmup with dressage boards at just £15 for one hour. Our first event of 2019 will be on 5 JANUARY - ALL NEW ARENA EVENTING WITH LONGER COURSE OVER TWO ARENAS! 8 SJ and 14 XC fences including water - Just £15.00 per round with prize money and rosettes! 5 Jan, 19 J...an, 2 Feb, 16 Feb, 19 & 23 March
BS starts again on 15 March
Combined Training Dates 22 Jan, 5 Feb & 12 March
Unaffiliated, Quest Dressage and BD Monthly from Jan

What a super venue run by super people! Organised, friendly and a smashing set up for horse , rider and spectators ! Loved visiting today and really appreciate the hard work and time that goes into running events like this for the youngsters. Look forward to the next visit. 🤩 *****🤩

We've just had a fantastic weekend here with our ponies, all the staff were so helpful and the ponies jumped really well off the amazing surface. Course building was great, food was good and friendly staff, what more could you ask for? :)

We had a fabulous time at Cherwell our first visit Julia was amazing very helpful thanks so much and to top it off got our hoys ticket ��

The jumps are very good, lots to look at! the arenas are great, nice clubhouse. good viewpoint from the mound between the arenas with picnic tables, you can watch the warm up and the competition at the same time.

Superb venue run by friendly and professional people. Lovely club house serving nice food and drinks. Certainly one of my favourite places to compete at.

Super arena and fences. Great prize money at BS shows with lovely rosettes as well as special sponsor rosettes for particular classes. Helpful and friendly team in the secretaries �

Our first trip to Cherwell from Kent yesterday with my granddaughter Daisy Lewis. We had a wonderful time there by coming 2nd in the Blue Chip Qualifier. Being a show organiser myself I appreciated how hard the staff had worked to put on the friendly and professionally well run show. We will be back. Thank you.

One of our favourite venues in the south by far. Always a warm welcome, arenas are always beautifully maintained and everything is clearly done with the competitors in mind. Well organised, fences are bright, courses are inviting and well built. The whole team of staff from judges to stewards to canteen are incredibly kind and accommodating and we do tend to plan our months activities around what's happening at Cherwell! Also a fantastic photographer in house in Alison Parker - we never leave without at least 10 pictures!

My first trip to Cherwell yesterday and what a fab place. Amazing arena with the best selection of jumps anywhere in the UK. Great for educating youngsters! Surface is brilliant and lovely atmosphere with music, drinks and nice seating for spectators. Restaurant is clean and serves great food. One of the best centres in the UK!

Not stayed over but the arena was really nice and great viewing seats to warm up and arena.

Just back from a fantastic wend at your show ground .. the people ..the atmosphere .. the bar / Resturant .. wow so impressed we had a greAt time and can’t wait to come back it’s great to go somewhere and feel comfortable. The arena and jumps were super the classes were run well and to time and good that it wasn’t bursting at the seems .. we will 100% be back .. again thank you for a super wend x

It was my first visit here for the Amateur show and I was immensely impressed with the arena surface in both the warm up and main rings. Their hard work on maintaining it throughout the show certainly paid off.

Having been to a number of different show centres recently this one by far was the best.

Hired the sj course in the large outdoor school. Lovely arena , jumps and surface. Will be back!

Had our first visit here for pony newcomer 2nd rounds, we were very impressed at the facilities, excellent surfaces fabulous facilities for spectators and wonderful staff, nothing was too much trouble, thank you, we will be back!! X

Had my first visit to Cherwell this weekend & what a refreshing change to find a center that is committed to pleasing their clients. There were a few issues that were beyond the organisers control which resulted in some negative comments. I personally had dreadful results (sometimes we all have them) but would not hesitate to go back. We all need to support venues like this instead of having to put up with being put up with. Well done to all the staff who worked their socks off with smiles on their faces.

Great show centre, lovely arena, friendly and good cafe... all the essentials covered! Only thing that could be improved is the pot holey road on the way in but it's worth it when you get there :)

First time we’ve been to this venue for BD. Lovely venue. All ran to time and lots of friendly faces! Very impressed with the standard of rosette too � Definitely on our list of ones to visit regularly.

First time to Cherwell yesterday. Lovely venue with great arena & interesting jumps to test the ponies.

Facilities are very good, clean & well maintained.

Lovely, friendly, pleasant staff.

Classes were running late but we were kept informed via FB so we're able to leave later & not have to hang around too much.

Although a couple of hours drive from us, we will be back.

Cherwell is a great equestrian venue and we go regularly for affiliated BS. What makes it great is that Laura and the team make continuous improvements, the jumps are beautiful and the arenas extremely well maintained. The food is interesting, really tasty, healthy and well presented - the best of any venue we have been to by a long way.
