Nice Underground station, one of the terminal stations on the Metropolitan line. A short walk away from the main town. Beautiful architecture.

Situated at the furthest edge of London Underground, the line from Chalfont & Latimer is probably the prettiest and most scenic there is. It's especially lovely in Spring when the bluebells carpet the woods and would be worth visiting for that reason alone. Chesham station itself is located a two minute walk from the town centre, with a good selection of shops, cafes and pubs. Taxis and buses are there too. The old town near the church is worth visiting, and is under ten minutes by foot. The station is small with only one platform, and a half hourly Metropolitan line service to central London. There are male and female facilities available and the station and trains are step free. Chesham station retains much of its historical structure including the water tank and signal box and is well cared for. In many ways it remains unchanged from decades ago, which gives it a lovely calming ambience.

No cash taken in ticket machines which are also often broken. Few staff around to help
