Phil's new HiFi shop in Crewe, yes in Crewe is a delight to have here. I have purchased a Rega RP2 in the last 6 months and more recently Monitor Audio Bronze speakers from him. I was planning to buy these anyway but much prefer to buy locally for customer service. Phil has let me test all these in my home without any pressure. This is an excellent service and extremely useful. Phil is very knowledgeable and gives great advice. His shop includes a variety turntables, amplifiers, speakers and other hardware which you can test in his nice demo room. I highly recommend a visit to Cheshire Audio.

One of the best. Phil Dixon has been a hi-fi guy practically for ever and I've been buying stuff from him since the 1990s. Whenever it's possible he comes round and does installations. If he can. he also leaves stuff in situ so I can get a feel for it. After-sales service is also really good; if there are any problems he liaises with suppliers to make sure they're fixed properly and in good time. Even if you're not in the market for any hi-fi kit, pop round and have a browse.

I telephoned for advice about my 1982 Rega Planar 3 turntable. Cheshire Audio were very helpful. It was so nice that they were able to take the time to listen to the problem and then provide useful advice and guidance. The service was so good that if I consider buying new audio equipment I would certainly contact them first. I would recommend Cheshire Audio to anyone that has a problem with their hi-fi.
