It's Father's Day in the Cheshire Cheese Gin Garden this Sunday and what better way to say goodbye to our first garden, before we close the Garden on the Monday for a make over. The pub is open as usual We will have music on throughout the day and from 6pm - 8pm we welcome Marc Kenny to play our first acoustic set of the Summer in the Gin Garden.

**A message to all our Gin Garden loving friends**
Stage 1 of redevelopment to start. On Monday 19th June we will close the Cheshire Gin Garden for 2 weeks for redevelopment works. This will increase the overall size and quality of the Garden and make it undoubtedly the best outside venue on the Wirral. Over the past 12 weeks since we took over, we have seen a remarkable turnaround and its convinced us that the next step is needed, the Garden will be closed for 2 weeks with ...(another) grand opening and Gin festival event to be held on Saturday 8th July.
We will be open as usual this weekend and the Cheshire cheese pub and kitchen will not be effected during this time.
Expect more lights, more flowers, a quirky courtyard, more events, live music, Djs, bingo, quiz with a twist, televised events, outdoor cinema, gin tasting, a clear roof and an outside bar.

We invite you to our first Real Ale Festival of the Summer, starting at 12pm on Friday 9th June and continuing through Saturday and Sunday. We will have a 17 local Cask Ales in The Cheshire Garden for your sampling pleasure.
A pint will be priced at £3 and £1.50 per half
There will be a BBQ on the Saturday & Sunday as well as full service in our newly opened Cheshire Kitchen.

Cheshire Gin Garden "if your names not down your not getting Gin" Saturday 27th May. 2-11pm
After the great success of the first two, we will be holding our next Gin event with over 50 Gins to choose from and cocktails exclusively designed for the Cheshire Gin Garden by Fever-Tree
We have just completed our 10th week on site and already the Garden is proving a popular meeting spot.
... So on to the next stage. This week we will get the final drawings back for the renovations to expand the Gin Garden, we will be adding a clear glass roof for the sun lovers, new decking, a BBQ area, many more flowers, hundreds more lights and an ever expanding selection of worldly Gins. Stage one should be completed by the end of June.
Stage 2 We will reveal details in the coming weeks of our plans due to start in January 2018. This will be a game changer for venues in Merseyside.... we are excited and we think you'll be very happy with what we have planned.

Gin and funk

The Cheshire Gin Garden is now open for summer Thursday Friday Saturday and Sunday evenings. We will have drink festivals, Guest Djs, live music, an open kitchens BBQs, Gin tasting evenings, quiz nights with a twist, bingo, a fully stocked outside bar, Moretti on tap, over 40 Gins, great selection of wine, champagne and prosecco, lots of light and flowers and something the area has been crying out for a long time.
