On this sad Sunday, we pay homage to the great common carp we know as Jim's. The Tatton Common, a fish of incredible stature, an iconic creature, a fish of pure natural beauty that many an angler tried to outwit this superior fish. A big loss to the Northwest, the carping community far and wide and to the men who battled they're wits in search of Jim's, some whom had the great privelage to come face to face, others who tried, and was still trying, until it left our carping wo...rld. There will be others, there will be big and beautiful fish, but there will never be another Jim's fish. Baby Jim's still lurks in the depths, another beautiful creature of the pond, another fish we have had the privilege to see through our journey. Both these superb creatures will live long in the memory of many as they will ours, whether here now, or gone to the carp world on the other side. Many will come, many will go, there will still only ever be, one Jim's fish. The Tatton Common. R.I.P

Today we will refrain from our scheduled catch reports and any other business. Under the circumstance, we feel this is not appropriate.

It is with some sad regret, we bring you news tonight of the findings of the great and beautiful fish, Tatton Common Jims fish as sadly been found dead. An incredible fish, a fish of great stature, and a fish very well known to us here at CP HQ. Of course, this will be a massive blow to our man Rob Allen, who put his life on hold to target such an incredible creature, fulfilling the challenge. We are sure Rob will be truly gutted at this news, we can't contact Rob at present ...as he is out of the country, but this will not be good news received. This is at present unconfirmed, but having received the info and images earlier, we can only say, this is very likely the news of the death of Jim's.
Such a shame of this news received, where we at CP are truly grieved of this news, another superb iconic fish as left us, a Northwest fish,a superior outstanding creature that will live long in our memory.

Consultant Rob Allen with a stunning scaley, not the biggest, and part of a three fish catch, but a beautiful fish to say the least. Multi-Mix was this one and the others downfall, super hot tricky conditions again, but Rob wasn't to be foiled in his approach.
... Awesome Rob, a lovely fish this one, superb colouration and scale pattern.

Check out these beautiful creatures for first time user Steve Baker. Steve was alerted to our range through our Instagram page. Steve had brilliant success while using the products.... The big one, watching it and having him off on many occasion, but he kept trickling it in and it couldn't resist the temptation to keep coming for the hemp and maples with crushed tigers in.
Stunning Steve, persistence was the order of the day, so very well done, cracking fish and brilliant effort.

New Pb mirror for former consultant Robert Bugsy at 28lb, backed up with another lovely mirror. Although Rob isn't with us now, he still has true faith in the products, and doesn't leave without them. Robert used the hemp and maize combo to trap these in what was a tricky, high pressure hot day, but with determination, he kept on trickling in the bait and was duly rewarded for his efforts.
... Well done Rob, nice to see you back out and catching again, lovely fish.

A couple of fish from the recent Serious CARP Socials trip to Cromwell lakes last week, we sent over some of the world record breaking Multi-Mix, and Billy Blake was rewarded with these two little stunners after applying the mix to his spots.
Well done Billy, lovely looking fish.

Another couple of lovely carp fall to consultant Tim Childs rods again. Once more a blend of hemp and peanut chops along with our superb SS3 blend Tim's favourite blend for sure helped get the fish feeding well. Tim fished 14mm pop up's along with free offerings to create a perfect banquet for these scaley beauties, a superb tactic that Tim relies on heavily in his approach.
Stunning fish Tim well done, the picnic always turns up trump's, great stuff.
