Meet Georgia and the gorgeous Dunnie. Georgia started out as one of our apprentices after deciding horses was what she loved and wanted as a career. Georgia followed her passion and with the support from her parents and CRS she has worked hard to become a BHS qualified instructor!! Join us for our one hour hack followed by coffee, cake, games and raffle in support of Macmillan. Our annual fundraiser is always extremely popular and hack spaces sell out fast! We will have a lesson to music at 11am for those who don’t fancy the hack!

FRIDAY HAS LANDED and we haven’t been this excited about the week ahead since well....... last week!!! 🐴 Today we have the arrival of Aries who is another sibling to the gorgeous Luna, Xena and Zeus!!! He will spend the winter growing up and becoming a strapping young man!!! We are also VERY, VERY, VERY excited to be welcoming our other new boy Jack who will hopefully be with us on Sunday!!! Today was a BIG day for CRS as we welcomed 16 members from The Pony Club International Alliance. We had guests from America, Australia, Canada, China, Ireland and the UK. Phillippa gave a presentation on how our centre has grown over the years and how it has evolved to become a prestigious pony club centre. The guests then enjoyed a tour of our facilities before watching a demonstration from our pony club members with coaching from Erin and Elle. We hope we inspired them all to set up centres in their respective countries. #ponyclub #goingglobal #cheshireridingschool #proudofourteam

‘There’s no place like home’…’there’s no place like home” … two clicks on the heels of my muddy riding boots and I’m swept away from life in the city to the charming magical land of Cheshire Riding, my second home. This enchanting School with it’s memorable four-legged characters and extraordinary team of instructors will take you on the most amazing adventure leaving you totally spellbound and totally in love with the place.



Erin and I have worked together for two and half wonderful years, setting goals, developing my skills and building my confidence. This has allowed me to join regular weekly group lessons with Janet, enjoy hacks out with Jane and have fun with Leanne and my nieces on a Saturday morning. More recently on a visit to LA I was able to hack out across the Topanga Canyon… all because of Cheshire Riding School!!!



Nothing is too much trouble, the horses and ponies are well-loved, beautifully cared for and happy. These four-legged beauties will literally melt your heart. And if that wasn’t enough I feel very lucky indeed to have met some fabulous ladies all on their own ‘riding’ journey.



This is where the magic truly happens… so follow the yellow dust track, through the emerald forest and over the rainbow and make your own dreams come true.

Without doubt the best riding school I've attended. The staff are excellent and very friendly. Communication is fantastic. The horses are brilliant and not the usual riding school type! They can cater for all levels/abilities with excellent instructors! they also have some amazing facilities! Myself, my 9 year old daughter, my daughter-in-law and her mum all ride here on a regular basis and we love it �

There is always such a positive upbeat atmosphere at Cheshire, I thoroughly enjoy my days with you, today was extra special!! as well as all the ladies coaching to a very high standard, I was treated to a chorus of Happy �Birthday and a Unicorn � cake!! Thank you so much everyone ������

There has been so much going on for the pony club, for adults, lessons carried on right up till Christmas, it was just a lovely week to enjoy.

Pony club days are spot on, but Christmas and Halloween themed ones, are simply amazing. So much effort, the kids enjoyment always top, it’s a fabulous day out for them and very very reasonably priced.

In a year I’ve been a very nervous rider, to cantering up “canter hill” (still nervous �)having a blast, to finally owning my own horse.... although I feel pretty clueless... the staff and management have been amazing, no question is silly, everyone has “time” for you no matter how busy they are, and I couldn’t ask for more than that.



My daughter has gone from just stroking a horse, to riding round like a lunatic cantering away on her beloved fav pony “pudsey” so much so, “a real life pony” made it on to her Christmas wish list ���

CRS is top in Cheshire, for a reason, just stand in the yard and watch the hussle and bussell of it all, you can’t help but smile. Best year ever for myself and my little one. Here’s to 2018.

Rode here for the first time on Friday on the lovely Russ. Ellie was a great instructor who took the time to show me round the barn as well as taking time to really explain what Russ was like to ride and she was spot on! Can definitely tell these are BHS exam horses! Looking forward to coming back again and doing my BHS with you

My son has been having lessons here for about 3 months and he loves it. He has his own horse who is a little tinker but coming for his lessons has helped loads with his own horse. He was moved up to the hour lesson really fast and has brought his confidence on so much. I have the happiest boy on a Saturday after his lesson. Would highly recommend cheshire riding school. The staff here are so friendly and helpful �xxx

My partner and I booked in for 2 private lessons. I'd never been able to get him on a horse before and he was extremely nervous to say the least (refusing to come at first). He rode Guinness and he grew more confident throughout. You gave him a super horse to start on, the instructor was brilliant and he even managed to do quite a bit of trotting. He's come away confident and happy that he made the leap. My lesson was a jump lesson and again I had the same instructor and she was brilliant. I've not ridden in quite some time so I was put to work and thoroughly enjoyed it! We will be returning again! Thank you for everything, we're aiming to do some hacks in the summer after my partners had some more lessons! Thank you CRS�

I have recently been learning to ride after having not ridden since I was a child. CRS is absolutetly fantastic , really friendly staff, lovely horse and some great facilities. I am currently having weekly lessons with Janet who is a fantastic teacher , she teaches in a very clear , understandable and friendly way. She knows each horse and all of their quirks and she has given me lots of confidence. I can see a noticeable difference in my riding each week and there are loads of options for future progression.

Highly recommend CRS....my daughter has been riding here since Feb ...beautiful countryside home for many wonderful horses....lovely friendly staff....my daughter loves her lesson with Harriet ...

Have had 5 private lessons so far with Erin and every week I come away feeling like I've improved. She's a great teacher who quickly diagnosed what I needed to work on and she picked up on how I learn best. All the horses I've had have been lovely, the facilities are really good and the staff are all really nice and helpful. Have also gone out on one of the hacks to Aston Ring which was felt well organised and was good fun.

From a nervous novice rider to popping a course of jumps you’ve completely transformed my son. Staff are always so encouraging and accommodating and the best ponies, thankyou!!

Elle is an outstanding instructor and she makes my lessons enjoyable every week. She has so much patience and makes me feel so comfortable and confident. I am so happy with everything Elle has taught me and I can feel myself improving every week. She has seen me go from strength to strength by setting achievable goals. I can’t wait to keep riding with Elle as my instructor and see where we end up.

Did a treck ride, first time here and fell inlove with place. Friendly staff and horses were all brilliant. I will be back for another ride , recommend 100% to come here.

Despite the wind, rain, sleet, snow and hail I enjoyed a lovely hour hack this afternoon. Brooke was a poppet - really comfy safe and steady ride. The track was sodden but to be expected in the weather we've been having but it was still nice to be on horseback in the countryside! Very safe track - no road work whatsoever - great for confidence building.

Chlöe has been riding at the school since she was 4yrs of age with Janet mainly but with some of the other instructors and is a great place and she loves it there. Everyone is so helpful just try it there it's great. Sue & Chlöe Lloyd x

Came today to use the farm ride , had so much fun an really enjoyed it , facilities were brilliant an the farm ride has something for everyone of all different abilities myself an my young cob loved it xxx

As a new client coming from foxes Riding School I was very nervous going to a new school but Ellie was so helpful to easing my nerves she showed me around the yard meeting all the horses and ponies, all the staff I met was really friendly and can’t wait for my journey to continue here
