Jane and Val had a very wet walk this morning 🌧🌧🌧. It rained all the way round but we didn’t let it stop us even though we were soaked by the time we had finished. Really enjoyed it though 😀💜👟👟

Fantastic 7 mile walk today from Poolsbrook walking through West wood down to the canal then onto Staveley basin. From there we walked along the trans Pennine trail back to Poolsbrook. Thank you everyone for coming 💜😀👟👟

Today has been a great day!
I have carried a backpack that is half my height and weighs goodness knows what for 8 miles around the Lake District today to wild camp at Place Fell.
Four and a half years ago after having the twins my body was in a sorry state after zero activity for years. There is no way I could have done what I did today had I not been consistent with my nordic walking and my favourite pair of Leki poles.
... Going out with your poles once or twice a week will make a massive difference to your core strength, stamina, cardiovascular fitness and wellbeing.
What would you like to achieve with improved fitness through nordic walking? Catching sunsets?

Adventure Walk
We are doing a lovely walk on Sunday, starting at Poolsbrook at 10am. We will walk along the trail to West Woods where hopefully we will see the statues! We will walk through the woods down to Ringwood Lake. We will continue down to Hollingwood Hub where we stop for a coffee break. We will need cash for our drinks. We will walk along the canal to Staveley basin. Hopefully we will see some wildlife along the canal. We will stay on the trans Pennine trail to head back towards Poolsbrook. Come and join us to enjoy a lovely walk and enjoy some much needed sunshine 🌞. Don’t forget to bring some water and your sun cream!
