If you have not heard of VHD or VHD 2 please use this link for some info. Both me and my sister were breeding Blue Eyed Netherland Dwarfs and was not aware of this very deadly disease. Even your house rabbits are not safe as it can be transported into your home on your clothing and even in the HAY that you buy to feed them.

Hi Folks. Whatever killed our beloved Bilbo has now taken our two females also. Something has infected them and killed them all within 1 day of each other.
This now means that as of now we will no longer be breeding rabbits...as this has hurt us very much.
... It has been very hard watching the 3 rabbits that we, oursleves, have had and loved from babies all die in our arms with no warning whatsoever. 1 minute they were running and eating as normal....and all 3 lay down and became unresponsive and passed away within 30-45 mins.
I will leave this page open for a while for you all to chat to each other...and I will check in from time to time if anyone has any questions, that i can help with.
I hope all those that have had babies from us treat them well and love them as we loved our 3 babies.
Goodbye...Bilbo, Trouble and Grouchy...hope you are all happy together again in Rabbit Heaven.

Sadly our Male Buck ( pictured above) " Bilbo" suddenly died in my arms this evening. We noticed that he was laying still and had not moved in quite some time....gently picked him up and held him and he died a very short time after. Ive had him since he was 8 weeks old and he was a little treasure. He was the only house rabbit ive ever known to come up to both my wife and I and actually "ask" for some attention.
... Some of you will know ( those that have purchased some of his babies ) that as a magician I produced him to the delight of many children in my shows. He took all the adoration of the kids in his stride and was never fazed by the attention he got.....quite often not wanting to leave when i showed him his travelling cage....preferring the attention he got from the children.
He will be sorely missed..... RIP Bilbo 26th July 2014 - 16th Oct 2018😪

One of our females has just had 4 babies 3 days ago. We will try and get some pics of them soon.

We seem to be getting a lot of enquiries for rabbits outside of the UK. Please note we are based on the Derbyshire / South Yorkshire Border in the UK and are not able to supply our babies outside of the UK.
