Chesterfield Studios are launching their new adult musical theatre group and you are invited to attend our information evening.
The evening will be an opportunity for you to find out more about how you can become a member and our visions for this new venture. We already have a number of performance opportunities in the calendar which includes our first big production in November. We hope to announce what we have chosen along with dates as part of the evening. We will also be... singing through some material from the show.

Meet Andrew Chadwick - Guest Tutor
... Andrew has a vast experience in performing in Musicals including lead roles such as ‘Rusty’ in ‘Starlight Express’, ‘Mungojerry’ in ‘Cats’, ‘Bobby C’ in ‘Saturday Night Fever’, being the Dance captain in ‘Fame’ and many other theatre credits. Andrew has also appeared in Disney’s recent Major Motion Picture Remake of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ where he danced the role of ‘Lumiere’. He has recently performed the lead role in Disney’s hit musical Tarzan. He is a respected member of and lecturer for the I.D.T.A and teaches both musical theatre and dance all over the world.

Theatreland Workshops are coming to Chesterfield this year with a very exciting summer workshop. If you are aged between 8 – 18 and have a passion for performing look no further!
Theatreland Workshops inspire young people to grow in confidence and feel empowered to believe in themselves whist reaching new heights in singing, acting and dancing. Our vibrant team of professional performer’s create a really fun week which caters for every child’s individual talent and ability.
“We treat our young people like they are part of a professional company. It is amazing to watch them evolve and grow throughout the week.” Rachel Knowles actress and Founder of Theatreland Workshops.
During the week our young people will work on a selection of showstopping musical theatre production numbers whilst developing their vocal connection, characterization , devising, movement/dance, imagination and audition skills. They will be led by a team of top industry professionals who have worked in all areas of the business. (TBA) At the end of the workshop there will be a performance for parents and friends where everyone will share in what we have created during the course of the week.

OUTSTANDING performances of Les Mis. Well deserved standing ovations every night.

My son has been going for over 4 years the teachers are amazing and my son thinks of them as his 2nd family every one is so supportive of each other. Amazing just Amazing!!!!!

My daughter had a really positive first drama class. She had a lovely welcome and came out smiling � I'm very happy that she has joined this group

My boys absolutely love coming here and come bouncing out of every lesson, staff are all brilliant with the kids and they put on some amazing shows.
