Does anyone have any lovely photos of the Camping Hols with us they'd like to share? Some will be used on our new upcoming website and the others will go up on our new picture wall we're installing in the games room. Please only send them if you're happy to share.

Still only January and our first sell out for 2015! Afraid we are now fully booked for the Bank Holiday weekend at the end of May. First time we've sold out in January.

We have just returned after 5 nights at Chestnut Meadow. The campsite itself is clean, well kept and has so much to offer. Kids adventures play area, games room with free table football, pool and table tennis( bring bats and ball).

There is an onsite shop selling essentials for camping and food. There is also a takeaway. All the essentials are very well priced £4.20 for a 185ml bottle of rose and a bottle of peroni!

Our blow up bed had a puncture so we purchased one for £15. Only downside is we had a young baby so there isn't much that is walkable for the site.

Still I would rate it 5*!!

We had a fantastic few days at Chestnut Meadows our first time camping with 2 dogs and an 8 year old. Loved every minute of it. Cara is on her own so making friends is really important to her, as soon as we arrived she had 3 friends. The freedom of being able to ride your scooter around all day in a safe place is fantastic to be able to go to the shop and buy her own sweets from a friendly person is amazing and to know that the place is safe and clean is wonderful. We will see you next year.

Returned today after a week stay in our newly purchased caravan and can't fault it, the staff were so friendly, showers immaculate, takeaway food excellent and resonably priced and delivered to our pitch and hot, our boys had a fab time making friends, very safe, clean and huge pitches, will be back very soon xx thank you Chestnut Meadow xx

Perfect camping for kids ... Loads to do around the area including cooden beach nearby!! Great games room for the kids & den building in the wood behind! Very clean site & very helpful friendly staff/owners!! Highly recommend.

My only feedback would be to have the cafe open a bit longer - would be great to be able to get a coffee while unpacking/packing up!!

User

Lovely site perfect for under 12s, bring scooters, skates and bikes to join the other kids zipping round here. Full of happy families bbq-ing.

Level, well drained pitches, well stocked shop onsite. Very friendly and helpful staff. Big field space in middle for ball games. Spotless toilets, hot showers. Cannot fault it, what a gem, deserves its 5 stars on Uk Campsite.

Just booked for a couple of nights in half term. This will be our 6th visit over 4 years. Summer would not be the same without at least one stay at Chestnut Meadow! Staff are lovely, café wonderful (especially the Thai curries) and its so safe, clean and well maintained.

Had a lovely time at Chestnut Meadow. It was our first time camping and the staff & fellow campers made us feel so welcome. Our ‘neighbours’ even set up my tent for me as they could see that I was struggling. The bathroom and other facilities were really clean and well kept. Definitely coming back next year.

User

Had 4 nights at this site and have to say that the welcome and help we had ( No electrics in the folding camper) from the staff were excellent felt very welcomed, it is clean and quite when you want it to be at night and first thing in the morning, toilet and shower block super clean and regularly cleaned. Pitch size is Big and your never far away from water and bins. Will definitely stay again. Thank You

User

Friendly, clean, reasonably priced, and lovely sized pitches, they shpuld bring the pool table back though and make it for the adults, nice to have a game in the evening.

User

First time staying here, throughly enjoyed ourselves. Friendly staff clean facilities and prime location. We will be back and would highly recommend

User

Fantastic place, staff and facilities the best in the area ☺

User

Fantastic clean campsite! We were in a group of 24 and we all enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The kids had the best time playing with other children on the site. The toilets and shower block is spotless as well as a well stocked reasonably priced shop. I would definitely recommend a walk in the woods behind the site. We will be back!

User

Chestnut meadow is one of the best campsites in sussex. We have been 3 times already this year and have just booked to go back in august. Lovely friendly staff and a well stocked shop. Great for dog walking with highwoods just behind the site.

User

Brilliant, fabulous campsite!! We chose to book after wonderful recommendations from friends. We were not disappointed. Chestnut Meadow is a brilliant family camp site. Well laid out, everything you need and what a friendly warm welcome. At the booking process you couldn't be more helpful and accomodating. All of the staff are friendly, helpful and smiley.

The pitched are massive, well drained, flat and well maintained. There is a range of pitches either facing the tarmaced track/road or the central field area. Some pitches around the corners of the site are more tucked away if you prefer that. The washing up and bathroom facilities are spotless. The bathrooms are warm and never busy when we went. (end of August, but it was bad weather so it was quiet for the time of year) My 10 year old loved the indoor games room - handy when it rained! It's well situated for surrounding attractions, not far from supermarkets or the seafront.

Also dogs are welcome! and there are great walks in the woods next door.

We recommend staying here and we look forward to returning. :) Thank you Chestnut Meadow!
