Our next Gastronomique evening is just weeks away...
On Wednesday 29th August we'd love you to join us for a very special evening of Gastronomy.
Our 5 course tasting menu is carefully put together by our head chef Tom and his team, accompanied by our super talented pianist Andy who will provide us all with an evening of live music. The evening costs £29.95- booking is advisable and reservations available from 6.30pm onwards. Who's in?!

We went for the film night to see one of or favourite films, 'Amelie' and paid £20 for a meal, glass of wine, soft drink and a dessert. The food was lovely, I had a perfectly cooked fish and my girlfriend had the chicken. The staff were hardworking and attentive, nothing was too much for the,. and they even gave us popcorn when the film started! It was a lovely evening and the range of films they have on look great, so we hope to be back over the coming months.

We had a meeting in Chez Jules over the weekend with 40 participants. The restaurant management was extremely helpful to arrange this meeting and while we were there they did everything to comfort us. We stayed for dinner , food was great and the staff was extremely helpful and kind.

We can just recommend Chez Jules for everybody, if they would like to spend a great in Chester.

Very busy yesterday but they were able to get me a table for 2 without waiting. The food was delicious and the staff very attentive explaining what was available, great service and friendly atmosphere

Very busy restaurant Saturday night on a race day, so thankfully we’d made a reservation. The table was ready for us in a quieter spot on an upstairs area, which was greatly appreciated as the main rooms were extremely rowdy.

Service was impeccable despite the staff being at full stretch, and the food was first class.

My wife enjoyed a very tasty salad Maison, escargot starter for me, mains were duck breast, and sea bass fillets, both accompanied with very generous portions of vegetables. We shared a white chocolate Creme Brûlée, a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc and two liqueurs. Total bill, a most reasonable £71.00.

Good food, excellent service, and extremely good value. Recommended.

It was our first visit to Chez Jules. The food was amazing. In a group of 10 we all loved it. The staff are friendly and the service is great. The food is reasonably priced. It has now become my favourite restaurant in Chester. Will definitely be visiting again for more of the banoffee pie.

A favourite that reliably produced excellent food, and we recently discovered they are 100% users of sustainable palm oil, the first restaurant to be able to say so in Chester. Eleven of us were there, service good, food good, wine good, company good, what more could you want!?
