📣📣Further to our previous notice, the opening hours we have been trialling throughout August will now continue for the foreseeable. To reiterate, our opening hours are now as follows:
Monday: 5pm-9.30pm* Tuesday: Closed Wednesday: 5pm-9.30pm*... Thursday: 5pm-9.30pm* Friday and Saturday: 12 noon-9.30pm* Sunday: 12 noon - 7pm*
*Last food orders - the restaurant will remain open to allow you to enjoy your meal at your leisure.
We are still available throughout the week for private hire - we are able to open at lunchtimes and on Tuesdays by prior arrangement.
🙏🙏Thank you to all our guests, regular and new for your support. We really enjoy meeting you - and will continue to provide the excellent service and delicious food that you have come to expect.

Went for a meal tonight with a friend, excellent food and service, will definitely be back!

We went for a small family meal 5 people on Monday Evening. Between us we had 3 different Starters and 4 different Mains all were very good presented well and very enjoyable. The desserts we had were also very nice. The restaurant is nicely presented and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. All in all we had a most enjoyable evening and I would recommend Chez Nous to anyone.��

Visited tonight for our work’s Christmas meal. There were 12 of us and we were looked after impeccably from arrival. The young lady serving us had her work cut out as there were menu changes, lots of drinks and it was a very busy night. The food was amazing, everyone complimented it, we will definitely be back x

Not been here before, took my parents for Sunday Lunch today and I have to say it’s the best Sunday Lunch we’ve had by far, the staff were so lovely as was the owner, and I just loved the place it’s self, will be back very soon and highly recommend this fab place �

Met a friend for a catch up over a nice tea. What happened was a wonderful experience with lovely staff taking care of our every need and food that was simply outstanding! I would definitely go again and would highly recommend a visit to others.

Not much choice for you if you don’t eat meat but the ones they do have are delish 😋

Just class.. yeah it's v busy but that is a good remember. Would rather be turned away from great venue that is v busy due to excellent food than welcomed and pay for average food. Would recommend Chez Nous, great food, good value and great front of house. I don't know his name but he runs a tight ship and is v attentive. See you soon.

I can only comment on what I saw as I was playing there on New Year’s Eve. The place has a great atmosphere and the staff were really attentive. The food looked excellent on the plate and there were many clean plates being collected. From the rapport it was obvtmany were regular customers and that has to be a good sign.

Hadn’t been for a few years, better than I remembered, amazing food and friendly staff. Will definitely be returning. My new favourite. �

Had a meal on Friday night with my ex work colleagues. Was amazing. Had the salmon just melted in your mouth so nice. Lovely restaurant, lovely friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone. We had a fab time.

Had a lovely birthday meal here yesterday. Was very impressed by the polite staff and great service. It has a lovely ambience inside and definitely felt very special. The food was delicious and very well presented. This is definitely a very good find for sale!

First time here, although my family are regulars. First impressions were good, decor was tasteful and I loved the bar area. The menu was appetising and the prices seemed reasonable. But.....The daily special menu was even better. We paid £14.95 for 2 courses, but you could have 3 courses for £17.95 if you could manage it! I had the black pudding Bon Bon- it was delicious and beautifully presented. Other starters chosen were the pate (yummy) and the melon salad - all were enjoyed. My family had the steak frites and again, everything was beautifully presented and tasted fab. I chose the chicken and apricot salad. Wine was very good quality - we had Chardonnay and Merlot and tap water was placed on the table as soon as we arrived (and kept topped up). Staff were super. very professional, and attentive. The atmosphere was pleasant and not over powering. Our current favourite - only problem is we live in Watford!

Fabulous food, fabulous service, can't recommend this place enough. Thanks to all the staff, cheers!!!

The food was excellent, however, this is a very expensive restaurant with a limited menu and the least I would have expected was for the staff to offer to take my coat and pour the wine.

Shame - lots of very young staff who maybe need some guidance on customer service.

Met up with some friends at Chez Nous this week I've not been for years it's lovely inside very tastefully decorated we had the early diner menu 3 courses for £17.95 the food was really good we'll presented and tasty and the staff were very friendly and attentive we all said we would definitely go there again

Looked on your web site to load a private message as I didn’t really want to leave a negative review. However this seems to be the only option. My husband and I took my parents to Chez Nous for dinner tonight and the food was average I had the salmon which was over cooked and the mash potato was like a smoothie. My husband had the liver and wasn’t impressed. I’m hoping my parent enjoyed the meal, I’ve not asked them and maybe they are too polite to complain as it was our treat. I’m not a particularly fussy person and not an amazing cook myself but I feel I could have done better. Such a shame as I really want a local restaurant that is good. Maybe it’s me but I don’t understand all the high ratings.
