What a lovely place to eat! I would not hesitate to recommend Chianti although I have seen some mixed reviews. Great food, friendly staff and nice surroundings at a really reasonable price. Quite a few veggie options - the cannelloni I had was (unusually for restaurants) more veg than stodgy filler. We also had a portion of olives to start with which turned out to be a bowl full, more than enough for four people. The house red was a good price and a properly fruity and drinkable wine. Although I was far too full after the main course, the men indulged in the apparently home made deserts and the spoonful I had was truly delicious.

This was our first time here, food was amazing, portions were very generous and good value for money! The staff were lovely and very attentive, we will be returning! This is now our favourite Italian!

This has to be the best restaurant food I've had. Excellent quality. Fantastic service and affordable too. 12 of us had a meal here tonight. Starters garlic breads main meals deserts coffees drinks were delicious. Every meal came out together. Piping hot. Plates piping hot and not a morsel was left behind.

The food was amazing and the staff were lovely and friendly , the service was great, there was a big group of us , it was my Grandson birthday and they really made an effort for him . We will be returning many times and it’s local for us .

Me and my family have really enjoyed our meal here. Absolutely fantastic food along with grate customer service. Would definitely recommend others to come here true Italian food really moreish. I will be definitely be coming here again as the young waiter was really handsome ����

Just been and wow what a place to visit. Pasta, sea bass, lasagne and steak. Top notch. Even down to the after dinner coffee. Very reasonable on price too. Will definitely be back.

Have been a few times and always had good food & service with nice surroundings & atmosphere. Had a large family celebration there yesterday & everything was great. Food was delicious & staff really attentive. Couldn't fault a thing. Thank you Chianti!

Garlic mushrooms, meatballs, pate and ribs very tasty starters!

Followed by seafood linguine with 🌶, seafood linguine with extra 🌶 🌶, lasagna and a chicken cannaloni.

All delicious!!

Been here a few times, and the food is very good. The prices are on average with other similar restaurants in the area. But the drinks are a little pricey. But overall well worth a visit here. Staff are very friendly. Service good.�

Beautiful place, delicious food....first time we have tried it..kids loved the pizzas and the pasta dishes are beautifully presented and extremely tasty...definitely will be returning ..thank you!

Only been twice. First time was a fabulous seafood linquine Really plenty of it an very nice, second time was advertised as a special. paella. As I love a good paella. I chose this dish. It was on a par with icelands frozen paella. Not the high standard I expected. Will take a lot now for a third visit. Shame as it's very nice decor etc

Iv been to Chianti previously when it first opened and a few times after that .... The food was brilliant and over all experience was good .. However I took my son for his 18th in December along with 14 family members and it was a different story ... The service was appalling .... The garlic bread was like a popadom it was that hard and the food just wasn't good at all, they left all our menus and wine glasses on the tables even though no one was drinking wine and in between courses they didn't move plates .... I was very disappointed and embarrassed as I had told my family members it was brilliant !!!! I don't know if someone has left or if someone new has taken over .... But I will not be going again

My friends leaving do so thought we would try Chianti, what a huge disappointment! I have never felt so uncomfortable Sat in a restaurant but tonight I felt the staff where constantly watching our table and seemed unenthusiastic to be there tonight. One meal in our group had to be sent back, with no apology, a side order of chips came I expected more than 12!!! On the whole a disappointing eve and I feel I won't beable to recomend Chianti x

Christmas Day meal, very poor table of 15 and everyone's meal was poor. Over £40 and got a soup that was horrible, chicken and 3 tiny potatoes and 2 scoops of ice cream. Would never visit ever again. Poor management as well.
