We went today for the three small plates option - interesting vegetarian options and very tasty food. The corn and feta fritters, tofu dish and the sweet potato chips along with avocado salad and pilau rice. Good price, friendly staff, nice space and all together a very good choice of somewhere to try for a nice change. Will definitely be going again.

Visited here with my mum, sister and daughter. Was unsure what to expect and I spent ages asking the waitress what everything was on the menu, she was lovely and very helpful.

The food was amazing, the staff were very helpful and attentive and it was a very relaxed comfortable environmemt. Will definitely visit here again next time I come to Liverpool

User

Tried here Saturday with the hubbie for lunch. Absolutely loved it. Ordered 5 small plates to share and each one was delicious. Friendly staff with good knowledge of each dish. Great beer selection too.

User

The best food I've eaten in a long time. Each dish was so different and full of flavour. AMAZING place. Will be returning again VERY soon

User

SO GOOD. Great service, phenomal fresh food.

We've been a couple of times and had all but a few dishes on the menu between us!

Everything is fresh, yummy and just spicy enough!

Eat all of the ceviche, the lamb and the plantain!

Staff are great, very attentive but not in your face!

P.s Puddings are really good too!

User

Really great place, lovely service. Food was lovely, really nicely presented (plates are supposed to be tapas sized so that you can try a number of dishes). Recommend the seabass ceviche, and the ribs were amazing. Only thing I would say is I would have liked to see some of the crispy corn like they do in peru for my ceviche. Great restaurant, I'll definitely be back.

User

Just grabbed a sandwich from the lunch menu to take away. I opted for the pork and it was absolutely gorgeous. Generous portion, perfectly seasoned, the right balance of rendered fat and crispy crackling and the chilli dressing on the bread was warm but not hot.

I love Chicha in general, glad to see the excellent food standards extend to their takeaway lunches too.

User

I love Chicha, it’s my favourite place to eat and I have to say a group of friends and I go regularly. The food is lovely, the staff are lovely. We have never had a bad meal here. Anyone who hasn’t been just has to go!!

Had a fantastic lunch here yesterday! The food was out of this world and the staff were incredibly helpful and informative. We will definitely be going back and I would highly recommend it for anyone wanting a lovely meal in the heart of town. We went for the three plates for £11 and found the chicken broth and pan fried sea bass to be excellent.

User

The food is not peruvian.. I am from Peru and when they served me ceviche was a joke... that;s not peruvian ceviche at all.. that looks more like a french tapas restaurant.. portions very small.. In Peru portions are massive.. Not peruvian dishes also If you want to order only cocktails like pisco sour that is the only peruvian thing they have in there.. they will say no because you need to order food.

User

Terrible start to finish every single staff had sweaty marks under the arms who straight way put me off then a argue between me and so called managers that tapas served all at same time when one wasn't a small plate but a main curse as it states on receipt should be served as a main and only a main unless asked .

The food nothing to die for plus I was with someone from Peru so I would say street food not even from Bootle....a microwave warm then chicken after been sent to the table didn't impressed me at all !

I know is trendy the so call street food but I get better service and food from a van?

User

Im chilean and ive been in Peru and have eat amazing peruvian food. This is actually a lack of respect to Peruvian cuisine and culture. Is horrible, the rice is instant rice without any flavour and the dishes are small and nothing to do with Peru. The chef should definitly have a look to the ORIGINAL recipes and stick to it. DON'T GO!
