We visited at the beginning of September for my birthday and had booked afternoon tea, we started with a cocktail which were lovely and the bar staff were very welcoming and friendly, they even offered me a free cocktail because it was my birthday! We then sat down to our harbour fizz afternoon tea which was great value and delicious. The staff were very helpful and professional, I had requested a gluten free afternoon tea for my celeriac friend at booking and they were great, remembered and made sure it was given to the correct person. She also had the same amount as us which was nice as some places offer a smaller selection for gluten free customers. We then went back to the bar and took use of there 4 for £20 on cocktails and had a lovely time finishing the afternoon off! Defiantly recommend for a lovely afternoon out, some of it may be slightly dearer than other places in town but you get what you pay for - amazing service, friendly staff, good food, good drink, a great time and perfect memories!! Will be visiting again soon thank you

We had a fantastic visit to the spa today for a birthday treat. The spa was so clean and comfortable and we had it all to ourselves! There were lovely details such as decent, current magazines and fresh cold water with fruit in. The spa manager was so accommodating and obviously cared about the experience and service being provided. We had fantastic pedicures which were tailored to be right at the end of our visit so we didn't ruin our nails in the wet spa areas. I love this place! I will definitely visit again

We had a brilliant visit to the spa today for my sisters birthday treat, the staff from the moment we stepped in the door to the moment we left were all extremely friendly and helpful.

The spa facilities are beautiful, very clean and well equipped. We were all left feeling fabulous after our treatments with the added bonus that we had the area to ourselves.

The light bites were all very tasty and the bucks fizz went down well in the lovely jetty restaurant.

The experience was fantastic value and we will definitely be back in the future.

My husband & I had a two hour slot at HarSpa today & it was fabulous!

We both had some time in the steam room & spa pool before our treatments and the facilities were beautifully clean & well thought out.

I had a 55min Reflexology treatment with Natalie, which was amazing & my husband enjoyed his Life Saving Back Treatment with Hannah.

Everyone we met in the spa was delightful! Thank you ladies! We'll be back!

Loved it here.

Private cottage for a whole weekend for partners bday & to kick start our Xmas shopping!

Convenient location, stylish accommodation, not recommended for those who are unstable on their feet... Typical small cottage stair case! Managers, reception all very friendly & presented well.

Alex & the bar team are fun, knollagable of their products & serve blue gin!

Alma was very attentive in the evening restaurant experience. Chefs that sticky toffee pudding was exceptional, it should win an award!

Bfast was a joy, lovely food & choices.

Spa felt exclusive due to its size which added to our experience. ( If you use Harbour hotels don't expect this spa to be similar to the other locations. Much much smaller) personally I prefer this one as certainly more private for gym users.Therapists professional & treatments luxurious. Pink hair custard!

I will be returning regularly to use these facilities, lunches & spa. I had fun this weekend, a huge thank you to everyone for their hard work. (Several parties n weddings were underway)

My only niggle were some facilities are becoming tired, a few parts of the cottage could use a deep clean. some public areas are a down fall in places although I do appreciate the hotel was providing a service to several large groups this weekend so I'll lay blame to busyness!

Our maid was attentive and our linen lovely!

As a daughter to a local top house keeper in the industry I know my stuff, I could go on to list a few more but won't. Some times the people make the place and in this location they really do. I would suggest if you know this chain do expect a different experience compared to other locations. This one's priority attraction is it's location ina beautiful town riddled with shops!

Nice job guys, I've popped this on trip advisor also!

See you soon!

I stayed in the Private Cottage, small and stylish with everything I could want..including.....a TV in the BATH!!! Nothing was too much trouble and I received a warm welcome...This hotel beats a top London Hotel I stayed at on value, service, friendliness and style...I had a lovely stay-too short in my opinion!!! I would happily return and would recommend to anyone looking for a short break in a central location-Simply PERFECT if you’re going to see a show at The Festival Theatre

Had a wonderful time in the spa for my Hen do, fantastic massage (feel like I need another one now after last night's shenanigans! Chilling out in the hydro pool and steam room was superb! Ultra relaxing, friendly staff, good atmosphere. Perfect.

Fabulous place for our 'minimoon', there is so much to see and do in Chichester and the hotel is central to walk everywhere, so many cost pubs and good shopping, the cathedral, Goodwood House and the hotel was first class. Our room was perfect, so romantic and the spa was quiet and perfect for couples. The treatments were excellent and service perfect. One slight gripe was the poor water pressure in the shower in our room but expect that is not the case for all and it was a minor thing. The food was excellent we dined in the first night and breakfast both days. Plenty of places nearby for coffee, cake and to eat out formally if you wish. Can really recommend the Crown and Anchor pin at Dell Quay for fresh seafood, Cody atmosphere with open fires and views out to the harbour there and board games with red wine! Perfect.

Absolutely beautiful hotel very helpful and friendly staff a little treasure to Chichester, enjoyed a fresh traditional full English breakfast with a cappuccino lovely and hot when arrived also had a relaxing pedi with the lovely Lauren and enjoyed their spa total bliss before Christmas shopping and also a early birthday treat to myself will definitely be going back to enjoy some me time and also come back with my boyfriend to enjoy the jetty restaurant.

A friend and I went to the spa this afternoon and were treated amazingly. Staff we do helpful and friendly. The treatments were great. We then enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea!

User

Very friendly staff, treatments were beautiful. Very cosy but very nice! I would recommend to friend's for sure.

User

Overall a nice stay, there are nice parts eg: the bar area and the restaurant but some parts feel tired and in need of some attention. Room was lovely with a wonderful view of the cathedral

User

Had afternoon tea today for my baby shower. I was exited and really thought they'd make me feel special but no. From the moment we walked in the hotel the staff was super serious and I clocked possibly 2 smiles the entire time. We were left for a good 15 minutes with no one asking what we'd like and we had to ask. Some of the sandwiches were dry on the outside and some of the cakes were over cooked. Some however were delicious so that was nice. The service was half hearted and slow and had no personality or cheer. It was just so disappointing. Great company meant I had a lovely time but I really am sorry to say I wouldn't recommend to friends. Sorry harbour hotel - please smile and be natural and friendly and have a can't do enough for your precious guests attitude.its such a gorgeous hotel it could be so much better!

User

Great location, very sweet receptionist and comfortable bed, but breakfast not so good, rooms - heating was on , on a very hot day

User

We stayed in room 30 during this heatwave that we have been experiencing and to be honest it wasn’t a pleasant experience. Being at the top of the building it was unbearably hot, the windows didn’t open fully and there was no fan.

Dinner was nice, breakfast was ok and when we left the lift wasn’t working so we had to carry all our luggage down the stairs.

It was an adequate stay, although I am not sure that I would stay again

£60 for 2 hours parking!

When my wife attended the hotel with friends last month a member of staff met her in the car park, took down her registration and entered it into an electronic device before telling her she could park free of charge for the duration of her visit. Three weeks later I received a £60 parking ticket.

Despite this clearly being an issue with the member of staff or the hotel systems, they have done nothing to resolve the issue or refund my money. I have been told that since the car park is run by a third party (who conveniently have no phone number, only a web address) the hotel can do nothing to assist. When I call the hotel, the reception phone is answered by a call centre rather than someone who is actually on site and despite leaving multiple messages, not one of my calls has been returned. All I have to date is 2 emails, each telling me that the hotel cannot assist me. On both occasions, I have called the hotel within 2 minutes of receipt, only to be told that the sender left 10 minutes prior.

This hotel is run by a skeleton crew of inexperienced staff who would rather hide behind an email address than actually speak to their customer.

This experience gives an indication of how little the hotel value their customers. I have family and business associates who regularly stay in Chichester - I will ensure they avoid the Chichester Harbour Hotel.
