This morning in our Art studio session, We got to use “big boy tools!” We used paint brushes attached to drills and hammers to create Art! Not only did we learn how to handle tools safety, We also created a beautiful canvas of colour too! 🎨 🔨

We had a fantastic time at Ashurst Mews Care Home this morning. The children loved helping their friends with some gardening outside in the sunshine ☀️ They used welly boots as plant pots to fill with soil and then added strawberry plants inside. We Can’t wait to come back and see how much they have grown! Great team work from both Children and the residents! 🍓 🌱👵🏻👶🏼

We decided to take our Art session outside this afternoon! The children were provided with fabrics, buttons, nails and “adult tools” to decorate their wooden logs. Managing risks independently, developing confidence and safety awareness..all from learning through Art! 🔨

An active morning full of fun and laughter at Ashurst Mews Care Home. The children were so excited to share their yoga knowledge with the residence! We also visited our friends in the memory ward, we played games together and showed of our basket ball skills! 👵🏻❤️👶

As we have a few cases of chicken pocks around the building, just a reminder to parents that it is advised not to give ibuprofen or Nurofen by the NHS guidelines as it can cause skin infections. 👶

Thank you to all that have donated their old mascara wands, the wands will help remove fly eggs and larva from the fur of wild animals. All 182 mascara wands will be sent to the Appalachian wildlife refuge! #wandsforwildlife ❤️🦔🐾

Cooking homemade jam on the fire pit in forest school this week! Promoting and nurturing independence, self belief and confidence in a safe environment whilst enabling children to be exposed to nature based learning. 🍓 🌳

This morning in the Art Studio we have been creating flower crowns using craft wire, tissue paper and ribbons! We think they look beautiful! 💐 👑

We love listening to the sound of raindrops when we do our Yoga sessions. 🧘‍♀️ ☔️
