Child Psychotherapy Council

The Child Psychotherapy Council, or CPC, represents the profession of child psychotherapy across all modalities in the UK and beyond. We are dedicated to the advancement of child psychotherapy as a distinct profession within the field of child and adolescent mental health. As a registered charity, the Child Psychotherapy Council engages with practitioners, training organisations, regulators, policy makers, statutory and non-statutory mental health organisations for children, young people, families and the general public. Our goal is to promote and maintain the highest standards of psychotherapeutic services for children and young people. Ensuring that only the highest quality, most developmentally appropriate mental health services are offered to children and their families – both privately and in the public sector.
