At Child UK we are passionate about the social, physical and emotional health of children and young people from all backgrounds. We wholeheartedly aim to encourage greater participation in positve activities to create safer and healthier communities primarily through sports and performing arts.
We have a proven track record in achieving a significant impact in local communities by working with groups of children and young people within a variety of settings. Gaining excellent results by applying our innovative provision of high quality positive activities, focussing on children and young people's needs.
Our primary outcomes include- increasing participation in our innovative programme of activities; encouraging healthy lifestyles; reducing the incidence of youth related crime; increasing awareness of the risks of substance misuse.
As Hertfordshire's first Community Interest Company, our not for profit model enables us to achieve our aims in the most effective way and to reinvest any surplus back into the community.
