Kaiya's first guitar lesson at the guitar house🎵 showing great promise & pure delight at learning to play her favourite songs! (A joy for me too!) It has been lovely to relax in daytime & to be part of her Home Educated week.

BLUE PETER UPDATE. As February approaches we are realising that it is taking a long time....2months and maybe more for the Blue Peter Music Badge to arrive in the hands of your excited children!
It seems like forever for a child to wait. (Christmas post didnt help I'm sure!) All our guitar children have been so patient & those who have got them think they are Amazing.
... But then I think ALL the children in Starter Guitar are amazing too!
They have come week by week with new songs and skills to learn throughout January: cheerful & guitar happy after a long day at school.
Every day I listen to their excitment about some new tune or topic which sometimes we make into a song by inventing a rhyme we can put to a popular tune. However, this January the favourite has been the eternal theme from Frozen (1) "LET IT GO".....just as it was 6 years ago! We havent tackled Frozen 2 yet, we might!
So watch this space for photos of the brand new Blue Peter Music Badge holders and a group photo when all our children finally receive one :0
