Dear all,
Chilli Padi will be closed on the 24th to 26th December and resume business on the 27th to 30th December before taking another break from 31st December to 1st January. Business will be open as usual on the 2nd!

amazing food...the salt and chilli prawns were to die for! Will definitely be back.

Went with my family and we really enjoyed it. We'll surely go back and try other dishes. Really good service from the staff, superb very friendly people, and food is amazing! ’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į’┐Į

We have been here more times than we can count, both as small groups and large parties (2-16 people). The only downside is that you have to pay cash, but there as a cash machine at Tesco around the corner.



The food is always amazing, freshly cooked and massive portions, we never leave the place hungry.



The staff are great, very friendly and approachable. They have always taken great care of us and not once have we had an incorrect order or a meal needing to be sent back.



We truly cannot recommend this place enough and everyone we introduce has gone back.

Visited yesterday with my partner, we ordered 2 starters and both wanted the lamb claypot, the lovely waitress suggested ordering one to share, I'm so glad we did as there was loads. All of the food was delicious, I'd highly recommended and will definitely return. They don't sell alcohol but you can bring your own and we were supplied with bottle openers and glasses

Visited yesterday and once again had the most delicious food. I love this place and will be back for more. We have been several times now and have never been disappointed. Excellent value and friendly attentive staff. Thank you

Visited last week for Iftar. Ordered the food and was delivered in good time with very friendly staff. A very big menu, spoilt for choice so plenty of reasons to return. It wasn't till we finished our food did we realise the place is supposed to close at 10pm and even though we overran, were never rushed.

Looking forward to a return visited :)

This place is amazing! I went with my husband last night. We had 2 snacks/starters - salted crispy chicken bites and roti canai followed by nasi goreng pattaya (I've had this before and it is sooo nice) and mixed seafood pan fried noodles (so much seafood it's unbelievable). You'd be hard pushed to find somewhere as nice to eat in town. The food is absolutely delicious, huge portions and served by attentive staff. Note that it's BYOB and cash only (almost next door to Tesco Express so not a problem)

Small venue but highly recommended.

Great menu choice and quality of food and portions was excellent.

No alcohol license but no problems buying a bottle of wine from Tesco next door and taking that in with you.



They also do home delivery via just eat app and you can also order food for collection.



Try it out if you enjoy food that packs a punch.

Love this place. Discovered 2 weeks ago and have been back 3 times. Will keep going back because the food is truly delicious and fresh. also love the bustling atmosphere and staff go out of there way to make you feel welcome. I love non pretentious places like this where the food speaks for itself.

Highly recommend. Food was amazing, atmosphere was great, staff were very friendly, take your own alcohol and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be visiting again very soon ­¤æŹ

Having been to many Chinese restaurants I ordered a main for me, one my wife & a side order of mixed veg thinking it would be the usual size, how wrong was I. The portions are big & the flavour is bigger. Would definitely go back. Lush food , big portions & bring your own drinks.

Great restaurant that holds no hostages when it comes to authenticity.



Excellent menu with cracking good flavours. Don't expect any homage to be paid to western tastes. This place gives you the real thing!

First time I've been but luckily my fiend had been before so knew what to suggest. Chilli and salt king prawns were to die for lovely and spicy and a great size starter..my main was just as lovely great flavours and colours very appetising to say the least. No waste on our table!’┐Į

Amazing food, bring your own bottle and really friendly staff!! Butter chicken with mango salsa was superb and salt and chilli king prawns were super spicy and tasty. Reccommend to everyone!!

After spending the last 9 months in Kuala Lumpur and visiting various Asean countries hubby and I were wondering how we'd manage to get our Malaysian food fix. Well we found it. Chilli Padi has our main favourites; rendang, laksa, pattaya to name a few. The portions were good sizes. We were like kids in a sweet shop. There is ice lemon tea and other beverages but no alcohol served. There is a bring your own bottle policy which to be honest can work out cheaper anyway and there is a tesco nearby. Cash payment only but that's not really a problem if you're aware. The staff are attentive without being intrusive.

The only thing missing was the signature Malaysian desserts of cendol or ABC. This would have rounded my meal off perfectly but didn't really detract from the mains. We will definitely go back to Chilli Padi when we need the next fix.

The food is excellent. I've given up on exploring the menu - I either go for the rendang (which is outstanding) or point at another table and ask for whatever they are having. Great place.

Liked it a lot .Lots of choices spicy sauces .Noodles were lush .Could easily share rice /noodles large portions !Take your own booze helps cost so reasonable prices .
