Took our 13yrs old son yesterday to buy his 1st kit. Service & advice was brilliant. We were allowed to take our time to decide & my son had enough time trying out the bows. They were very patience with an indecisive teenager. I would highly recommend this place.

Really helpful getting my first recurve setup and always a pleasure when I go back to swap my limbs on the exchange program.

On Saturday I went to an archery shop near to where I live (not Chiltern Archery) luckily they were too busy to serve me straight away and I got to watch them in action with other customers who they pressured into buying expensive gear that they did not need. I left and drove to Chiltern Archery which was recommended by a friend, it is a lot further from where I live but it turned out to be worth every mile of the drive!!



On arriving at Chiltern Archery I was immediately impressed by the range of stock they had in the store. I was approached by one of the members of staff and they asked if they could help. I explained that my son and I were just starting out shooting recurve bows and were looking for a complete set of gear each. The gentleman who served us asked if we had a budget in mind so that he could tailor his recommendations to both our needs and our budget.



Throughout the process of selecting all of the equipment that we would need we were given an array of choices and at no point were we pressured to go for an expensive option, take for example the riser, we were shown about 8 different risers ranging in price and the one we chose ended up being the 3rd least expensive simply because it was the one that felt the most comfortable to hold. With every option we were told the pros and cons of each item and the decision on what to pick was 100% ours.



Once the components of the bow were collected and assembled we fired them to make sure we were happy with how they were set up. I think that was the best 6 arrows I have ever shot!!



When all was said and done and the final bill was totalled up we had spent under 2/3 of the budget we originally set.



As I walked out of the shop I was content knowing that I had bought the right equipment for me and at a price I was happy with. I will absolutely be recommending this shop to anyone that I know who is in the market for any archery equipment.

I love these guys, all very helpful and has taught me alot about the sport. I have met quite a few people who love the sport and have made quite a few friends, they have a pretty good indoor range as well as a outdoor range if your in to archery then go along

Have to say that the help and advice is second to none at chiltern archery. I can't fault them in any way shape or form. They treat you like an individual and from what I've seen no different from if your just starting out or been into archery for years. I highly recommend them and will continue to buy all my kit from them.

Have just had a 3 session intensive beginners course , very friendly and relaxed atmosphere cannot recommend highly enough !!!!

Chiltern archery came highly recommended and having just bought my first recurve from them I understand why. Their customer service is excellent.



Gary talked me through my options not just for now but the future as I progress. I said what my budget was and my total bill came in at the low end. As Gary started setting up my bow he let me try it out on their range to get the feel for it and make sure it was set right for me.



For a first timer the prospect of buying a bow seemed abit daunting understanding all the measurements needed and the poundage but Gary was great in talking me all through it and sorting my measurements out. Chiltern also offer a limb exchange programme which is one of the reasons I went there.



I love my kit that I've bought. Thankyou you guys
