Chiltern District Council Description
Most of Chiltern District lies within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with its towns and villages set in the Chiltern Hills. While most of our residents live in the settlements of Amersham, Chesham and Chalfont St Peter, there are many picturesque villages dotted around a mainly rural landscape. Chiltern is located to the North West of London in the County of Buckinghamshire and is within easy reach of the capital.
With easy road, rail and tube access, the Chiltern District provides the perfect setting for an enjoyable day visit or a relaxing countryside break.

Dog fouling is offensive, anti-social and potentially dangerous to human health. Communities can work together to encourage pet owners to pick up after their dogs. #ThePowersInYourHands #Community
Residents across the Thames Valley region are invited to participate in the next Police and Crime Panel by submitting questions for Police and Crime Commissioner Anthony Stansfeld. ๐ฎโโ๏ธ๐ฎโโ๏ธ๐๐
Anyone who lives or works in the Thames Valley area can submit a question ahead of the meeting, which takes place at 11am on Friday 7th September, at the Aylesbury Vale District Council offices.
At this meeting the Panel will be looking at the role of the South East Regional Organised Cr...ime Unit, (SEROCU) in particular the Unit's work on tackling 'County Lines' in the Thames Valley area.
However, questions from the public can be about anything relating to the work of the Police and Crime Panel.
The Panel examines and reviews how PCC Anthony Stansfeld carries out his responsibilities of ensuring that Thames Valley Police runs effectively and holding the Chief Constable to account. The Panel also supports the PCC in his work.
If you would like to participate, please submit your question by email tocontact@thamesvalleypcp.org.uk at least three working days in advance of the meeting.
