Absolutely appauling service. Rude and abusive owner who had the cheek to put the phone down on me when I asked for my money back when a delivery takeaway didn't arrive. He said they were too busy ! Ruined a Saturday night take away with no offer of compensation or a refund. Only go here if everywhere else has closed or got norovirus !!

Don't bother they got my order for delivery wrong and then hung up on me when I called back . disgusting don't waste your money.

The food was vile, the duck was dry and over cooked, the pancakes were raw, the spring onion and cucumber were also dry. The meal went in the bin, as the restaurant( if you can call it one, were unhelpful, to say the least. I would never order from here again, nor would I advise anyone to do so. The absolute worst meal I have ordered ever !!!!!!! DISGUSTING

Went tonight for a meal, daughters 21st birthday , food was enjoyable . But the service was terrible . Had to keep asking for them to come over really was not nice at all . Didn't even get asked if we wanted drinks . Or even desert menu . We even had to shout to get the bill . Husband then had to go to them to pay . Very poor not what you normally get here. Actually do not think they care about eat in diners as much as they used to. Won't be going again time to find a new Chinese !!

Food was terrible and the order was wrong !! Rang up the shop to tell them no answer before closing time, save your money !

Two hours to deliver, realy plain tasting and very dissapointing, ended up giving the food to the stray cats on the estae.

Ordered a take away food was good and soggy. The salt and pepper chips where blatantly frozen oven chips fried in salt and pepper fat absolutely disgusting and they had the nerve to charge £4 for delivery! Never again!!

I loved this place when I first went to eat and the staff made me feel welcome. The food was excellent and I really thought it was value for money. I visited last week with 3 friends... We got a like warm reception, partly due to the fact we wanted to sit at another table, rather than be cramped in a corner.
We ordered 4 different starters, some were hot others Luke warm.
Then we ordered 5 main courses, just enough for a spoonful each.. There was 12 small pieces of sweet and sour chicken, so 3 each ... It was like a child's portion....
Once we had finished, the staff collected our plates and presented the bill.... I wanted to order more food, as it was suppose to be eat as much as you like and I was still hungry...
The staff wanted us out .... Priced at £75 ..... I will never return after my last visit ..... They do not deserve the business they get , greedy rude not recommended.

Gorgeous place, my husband and I have been going for, at the very least, 10 years now. The service is always great, staff are friendly and the food I'd quality. Absolutely love this place! 😃

We went in and found the restaurant 1/4 full, they seemed disorganised and more interested in their takeaway orders - the restaurant felt like a hindrance. We were not properly shown to our cramped table, just pointed towards it. The starter (duck) was acceptably warm and edible, the drinks were ok too. My partners main course arrived, cold, with no sign of mine. After trying to gain attention of waiters and get my missing food, it became obvious that they had completely forgotten to cook mine. Now bear in mind that this restaurant is charging top prices - and for their prices I would expect nothing short of exemplary service, good food (and hot) and feel welcome. None of these expectations were met. We left, the only decent thing the restaurant did was not to charge us. We were closely followed out of the door by another dissatisfied couple - in fact all the customers in the restaurant looked dissatisfied. Please china garden, take note and either focus on take away or sort your act out.
