The Specials Ltd are the UKŌĆÖs most authentic and original tribute to 2-Tone Legends, The Specials.
When the original line up of The Specials split in 1981 they left behind a legacy which has been unrivaled by a single band since. The group were integral to promoting an anti-racial ethos, created a unique image and combined punk, ska and reggae music while lyrically commentating on the state of Britain in the late 70ŌĆÖs and early 80ŌĆÖs. They formed their own 2-Tone record label which launched the recording careers of Madness, The Beat and The Selecter.
The Specials Ltd recreate the passion and enthusiasm of The Specials, bringing back memories of those who were there first time around and showing younger fans what they missed. The Specials Ltd are a 9 piece band full of energy, excitement and accuracy, performing Specials favourites such as Gangsters, Too Much Too Young, Do The Dog, Message To You Rudy, Stereotype, Rat Race, Do Nothing, Monkey Man, and Ghost Town.
For most ska fans 1980 had to be the year. The music of The Specials along with Madness, The Beat, The Selecter and Bad Manners were the sounds on your radio. Britain was a bleak place back then, and the music that brightened those days were sounds of the great 2 Tone bands. It didnŌĆÖt matter who you were or where you came from, it was a movement that united people and it continues to this day. Fast forward 40 yearsŌĆ” a once in a generation band comes along, a band to inspire the next one. A band that makes you forget about all that is wrong with world. That band is 2 Rude, a band driven by a passion for music.

"2 RUDE" were drawn together at the dawn of 2009 in a call to arms by the inimitable Mark Harry. This gathering brought together a crew of 7 first class musicians with a calibre that is second to none, and a combined number of gigs literally in the thousands. The band have played with the likes of Roddy Byers of The Specials on several occasions and shared stages with Bad Manners, The Selecter, From The Jam, Aswad, Soul II Soul and Midge Ure as their stature has grown. The band have been touring the country playing their unique style of two toned inspired hits, they have played a string of sell out shows, headlined festivals and have left thousands of people breathless and shouting for more. 2 Rude have rightly claimed their title as one of the hottest live acts in the country.

I love this place. Great people, great atmosphere, proper food and good selection of beers. Live music nights are fantastic. Every town should have a Chinnys bar!

Absolutely fantastic ! Great tables, great tournaments, great bunch of guys taking part, not to mention the super lounge area, deelish grub; friendly staff; massive TV screens for sporting events; music nights; etc . etc. Just what Halesworth needed for a long time ! Trevor and Carl deserve to be on the Honours List for their efforts !

Very nice friendly place with pleasant staff. made to feel welcome and never in a rush to get you out which is lovely. Only down side we found was the food which was very nice but was a bit slow to arrive at the table. It was good the children were served first which makes sense but adults food was a long time from first person to last getting the food. I realise there were 14 adults and 7 children,maybe could do with another waitress/waiter to get food out from kitchen to table quicker. On the other hand it is a nice place to let the children run around and let off steam without being frowned upon. Thanks to all staff yesterday 22nd. Will be back soon.

Very friendly staff good value drinks and enjoyable food

Waited at the bar for 10 minutes and was ignored. Locals who were already seated went straight to bar and got served straight away total joke avoid at all costs.... well... unless you are a local.
