Have had fish and chips at THE CHIP INN LONG STRATTON for more years than I can remember with my parents on a regular trip always on a Good Friday never missed they have passed away 16 yrs ago if they are open when i am heading home back to HARLESTON i Will stop and have lunch or just a tray of chips and sit in the car and eat them

Beautiful fish and chips, had lemon sole, was to die for and we are visiting from London, will be back again in September

Fabulous fish and chips. The chicken nuggets are great too - made from real pieces of chicken rather than reconstituted meat.

There's outdoor seating, although unfortunately it is beside the continuously noisy A140. You might want to check out the restaurant instead.

FANTASTIC FISH AND CHIPS! the queue regularly seen outside says how popular this place is. The food is some of the best fish and chips I have had. I don't know what other reviewers are on about with portion size, it was a good portion size. Cod comes in three sizes and medium is like large in some other shops. Large is LARGE! A portion of Scampi was 12 pieces which is more than we normally get from our local chippy. it is a little more expensive than some chip shops, (Scampi and chips, med' cod and chips, a bread roll and a bottle of water was £19, In the sit in restaurant side, but seriously it is worth every penny. Plates and food are all fresh cooked no reheats and the plates are warmed properly so your food stays hot. Service was also great as the restaurant was 3/4 full so quite busy.
