Welcome to the Facebook page for Chipping Norton News - the 50p monthly community newspaper for Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire. On sales at many shops, restaurants, pubs and other establishments around town. Also on Twitter at twitter.com/chippynews.

The Chipping Norton News is an independent monthly volunteer-run newspaper that was started in the Seventies after the last commercial newspaper closed down.

The Chippy News reports news and events of interest to the town and the immediate surrounding area and is on sale at numerous shops and establishments in and around the town for 50p.

We run a blog at chippynews.org where we post news items that we come across that would be too late if we waited for the paper to come out so if you have news or an event, post it on the contact page of the blog.

We also run this Facebook page and a Twitter account - @chippynews. Please note that the News is completely run by volunteers so that's why we haven't put phone numbers or addresses here. If you need to contact us please use the blog or buy a copy of the paper - all the phone numbers are in there.
