What can I say. We went to Chiquitos this evening for my wife's birthday meal. The food was great and served very quickly considering there where 8 of use. The staff where amazing. They put balloons on the table when we got there. Recommend a few things (drinks and food) which where so nice. They even surprised my wife with a happy birthday song and a free brownie with a candle in. They where very happy and friendly they really made the evening a joy. Thank you to all of the team. Great work. ��

Thanks guys. Our cinema date plans were scuppered last night as we didn't think to book, nor did we book a table to eat.

We were advised there was a 30 min wait for a table. Fine by me as it meant I HAD to have a cocktail whilst waiting.

Ashlyn seated us less than ten minutes later apologising for our wait. What a delight she was from that moment to the end of her shift when she handed us over to the lovely Emma.

The restaurant was absolutely packed but we were not rushed. Ashlyn knew the menu well and could advise when we queried a few dishes.

She was so personable and genuinely added to our evening.



The food (and cocktail) was awesome and couldn't be faulted.

All throughout our night our waitress Saffron was extremely helpful, friendly and polite. She went above and beyond, and even took our photo! The food was amazing especially for the value and was served very quickly! All around a great evening, but special thanks to Saffron for the amazing service on my birthday surprising me with a lovely birthday brownie! She really deserves a raise, 10/10 cant wait to come back, ask for Saffron ladies and gents!

Love Mexican food, could have a broader menu,service is slow at times, would go there again.

Had lots of choices which being a Coeliac is important. Food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Only criticism was the floor under our table had squashed chips on it and there was a used serviette on my seat when I sat down. Yuk!

Unfortunately our meal didn't turn out how we wanted it to, drinks were fine starters were fine but the mains! I've got to be honest they looked and tasted like someone had got them out of the bins at the back of Ali babas! However we told staff this and they were brilliant completely apologetic and couldn't apologise enough, our waitress said she would inform the manger, the manager was there within minutes and again he couldn't be more apologetic and told us that the meal was on them! Fair play to him as he didn't have to do that and I thank you very much! Customer service was outstanding and because of your kind gesture we will be back! (ordering something different lol) just hope the food is much better next time.

Had a meal yesterday starter was lovely main had a lot to be answered for cold chips and generally very bland was first time there so didn't expect much but didn't live up to even that

Good food. Helpful friendly service. Only one problem - portions are too small, especially for the prices. When my food arrived, I thought I'd ordered from the child's menu by mistake, but then saw the Bill!

Came to eat this evening for my daughters 11th birthday and I have to say the service by our waitress was awful and so slow!

Have to say how wonderful the lady manager ( unfortunately i dont have your name on my receipt) who this evening was so very accommodating and working her ass off at the bar and serving food too. Wonderful save by her and we may return in the future

The staff are really nice but the food was very poor standard. The fried chicken pieces for starters the ends were hard and the chicken dry (signs of reheated to much or really overcooked) it was only 7 minutes from ordering to eating so this would seem to suggest reheating.

The jambalaya smelt off the two king prawns that came with it, their shells were almost white in colour. When I tried to peel the insides were shrivelled up and it had a foul smelly. I have cooked shellfish for years and this was reheated many times. They did give us free pudding after complaining but the manager said we never reheat food, now that is utter bull.

My wife subsequently have raging upset stomach which meant visiting the toilet many times. Thanks Chiquito for ruining our evening

Really good food, but ridiculously slow service . We ordered our drinks, it was sat at the bar for like 10 mins so I had to get up and get it myself ���

Long story coming.



Went on Friday with 16 people total had a lovely time and food. One dish was stone cold but instantly replaced and deducted from the bill. Was told that hats could be taken but a donation was asked for to be given to charity.



No worries. How much? we asked. As much as you can afford with a smile from the staff. Lovely. Happy times. Splendid evening.



Went on Saturday (the day after) with four of the same people- food delicious drinks lovely waitress attentive.



Gave a donation for the hats BUT THEN was accosted by the same guy who spoke to us on Friday saying it is a compulsory £5 PER HAT donation and forced to either give more or give back the hats!!!! Bearing in mind our bill was over £200 I thought this behaviour pretty foul! What a way to ruin our night. Found it he was a manger also. Such poor customer relations.



Will likely never return due to this idiot and considering we came twice in 24hours your loss shitquitos (deliberate misspell as now I will Ensure I will tell everyone of your shite managers behaviour!) Definately not advocating this place unless you want good food but unfriendly idiots!

food was great! but the service was so poor had three drinks spilt all over us, the waitresses were rude and making rude remarks as we was a big group of people. would go to chiquitos again but not this particular one! The manager was really good though and picked up all the mistakes that everyone made!

Took over an hour to get our food and as we where watching a film next door we had to ask for a take away box. The food was burnt and tasted awfull. Price was ridiculous concidering what was on our plate.
