Went back on the 21st November. The waiter was amazing, asked if either of us were gluten intolerant before seating us and giving me the gluten free menu. I’ve never been asked, and having to ask makes me feel awkward so this was great. The food was lovely too :)

We visited on Tuesday and was served by the sole waitress on the night who looked after 8 tables. I didn’t catch her name but I must say she was calm, polite and professional. We received wonderful service and food so shall be returning.

Visited on my way home down the M5 from work. Real warm environment,really nice & attentive staff.

After having what only can be described as an applawing service at our local Rubery branch we decided to give this one a try.



Our server Andy was amazing.



I was undecided on what to have as starter and main gave him a few options told me what they was explained in great detail. (Yes it's there job to do this but doing it in such detail and passion does help)



The food was amazing no faults what so ever full of flavour served fairly quickly and cooked to perfection.



I am very quick to pick a fault buy I can say with my hand on my heart this was on of the best meals we have ever had.



The staff and cooks and management have set the bar so high and expectations are on a next level I look forward to returning and just hope it's as good.

Hadn’t been here for years, very happy that decided to come in! Very friendly and attentive staff, the food was lovely and came out really quick! Definitely returning soon :)

Well on arriving it was very quiet, asked if I could be seated near Toilets, we were told no because it’s empty, we like everyone in same area so we don’t have to keep walking round. Ordered food, omg everything was burnt, changed sweet potato fries for fresh. Started eating chicken, was so burnt, couldn’t cut it. Onions rings were cremated. Service couldn’t be bothered, coleslaw never came. And then they had the cheek to try and charge us for what we couldn’t eat. I have tried to put pics on but won’t let me.

Went here for fathers day, table booked for 1:15 seated immediately, given menus but then pretty much left to our own devices. Definitely won't be returning on a "special" day again. Too many bookings and not enough staff to handle it.

When we got there the physical menu did not label vegan options like the website does, so I thought they might have a vegan menu like most other chain restaurants. The waiter was rude and dismissive and told us that absolutely nothing on the menu is vegan and the only allergen menu they have is gluten free. I asked him if they really don't know whether milk or egg are in any of their dishes (both common allergens so this info has to be provided by law). Eventually he brought me out a piece of paper from the kitchen which listed what ingredients contained each allergen. He said, "I've got this but I'm telling you, there won't be anything without milk in it" as if I were stupid and had never ordered dairy free food before. The allergen sheet was confusing to use and missed off some really obvious things, so I had to get my phone out and look on the website again. I ended up using the Veganuary site which advised that I could order fajitas without cheese or sour cream. The menu stated that they guarantee to bring fajitas to the table within 15 minutes, but we waited an HOUR even though the restaurant didn't seem all that busy. We had to flag down a different waiter to remind him that we had ordered. Our food was then brought out (although we were still waiting for the water we'd ordered an hour ago). Due to a medical condition my brother can't eat without a drink, so after asking twice for a jug of water and waiting while his food went cold he ended up having to go to the bar himself. I took a scoop of guacamole and found sour cream underneath - instead of putting my food on a clean plate they had just scraped the sour cream off (not very well) and put the guacamole on top, despite the fact that I'd ordered from the allergy sheet and asked for a meal with no dairy. It's a good job I don't actually have an allergy! The waiter also spoke down to other members of our party when they asked for drinks that they didn't have in stock. He said that it's been years since they sold those products, as if this was obvious. No apology whatsoever for not having the drinks we wanted, for providing misinformation about allergens or even for the hour long wait for food. There are plenty of rivals who offer decent customer service and care about allergies and dietary requirements, so although the food itself wasn't bad, I don't think we'll​ bother with Chiquitos again. I certainly don't recommend this particular branch to anyone as the staff are rude and can't be bothered to be helpful.

Visited tonight with a friend for a catch up. Ordered a chicken, bacon and avocado salad...it came without avocado! Took ages to get anyone's attention and we were given a plate of avocado separately, my friend also asked at this point for a glass of water. She then asked twice more and finally got one! Our bill came and stated we'd had free popcorn...we hadn't and usually do whilst waiting for our meal. Attitude of staff was as if they couldn't be bothered and would rather be elsewhere! We would have stayed longer if it wasn't for all of the above and I don't feel inclined to visit again anytime soon unless things change.

Unbelievably slow service, we had to wait over an hour between ordering and getting our food. Orders were wrong when they finally did arrive. Wouldn't recommend.

The waiter Stefan was the only good thing about our visit here, he was polite, friendly and professional, and seemed to be the only person serving all the tables well done to him. We waited an hour between courses and the potato bravas was cold, the mains were bland. Didn’t stay for desert. Much prefer Las Iguanas.

Place was empty when we arrived so didn't think we'd have too long to wait! Unfortunately it was near to an hour before we got any food! I had a Mushroom Burrito that was nice but didn't come with any sides so basically paid £10.50 for a tortilla and a few mushrooms. My dad had the chicken Melt which was very disappointing and came out looking like a child's meal for £14 something. He left still hungry. Chiquitos is trying to charge Las Iguanas prices for what could be the Mexican option on a pub menu that you'd probably pay half the price for. They either need to drop their prices or up their game and make better and more fulfilling food. I don't usually write bad reviews I don't usually write reviews full stop but this is the second time I've been there now and unless some changes are made I won't be going again. One positive and the only reason it got 2 stars instead of 1 is the staff were friendly enough and we're smiley and helpful.

We got our mains and they was cold and we asked hot sauce on our mains and they came out as bbq. We had sweet protatoe fries they where burnt and hard. So by this point we gave up and told them we wanted the bill as we wanted to leave.

Never come back here again.

Sent a meal back twice as was cold. The other meal although hot was dried out and clearly been left standing under heat lamp for a while.

No apology from staff, manager made excuses about it being really busy. Appalling customer services.

Ended up having a refund and going to McDonald's.

One server during lunchtime to cover waiting on tables and tending bar. Long wait to get served meant we eventually walked out. Not recommended unless you like lots of waiting about.
