Acupuncture
It involves the insertion of very fine sterilized needles, disposable and never re-used, into the body surface at strategic points. The practioners will leave the needles in place for about thirty to forty minutes. The use of needles is virtually painless.

Auricular (or ear) Acupuncture
Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture is a specialist complementary therapy where acupuncture points on the outer ear are treated with small, sterile, disposable needles, in order to treat many different chronic complaints. In Auricular Acupuncture the ear is regarded as a micro-system of the body. The auricle is covered with nearly 200 different acupoints – each one corresponding to a particular area of the anatomy. An Auricular Acupuncture treatment involves placing 5 or 6 small, sterile needles in each ear. The points chosen correspond to the area of the body or condition needing treatment. Small press needles or acupressure magnets may be placed on selected points, between sessions, in order to enhance and prolong the effects of the treatment.

Auriculotherapy /Ear Pressure
Auriculotherapy is a form of acupuncture without needles. It involves the stimulation of the auricle of the external ear for the diagnosis and treatment of health conditions in other parts of the body. The ear reflex points are stimulated electrically in order to treat dis-ease such as migraine, pain in various parts of the body, asthma and also for weight loss, to help stop smoking and various other forms of addiction. It is extremely popular as it has been found to be as effective as acupuncture using needles, but without having to 'invade' the skin! Used for all the same dis-eases as conventional acupuncture. Effective for weight loss, smoking cessations and other addictions.

Massage
It differs from western massage in that finger and palm pressure is applied using a wide range of techniques. It stimulates Qi mobilization to regain Yin-Yang balance in certain parts of the body.

Herbal Remedies
Chinese Herbs are an integral part of TCM. They are specially formulated in China and include flowers, leaf stalks, seeds and roots. Each herb is used for specific purposes and perform particular functions.

Moxibustion
The application of mild heat to the body, again at particular points, with glowing moxa wool(a finely chopped herb-folium Artemisia), entirely painless and comfortable. It helps blood and lymph circulation and maintains good health.

Reflexology
Reflexology is sometimes known as Zone Therapy as the body is divided into different zones represented by a point in the foot or hand. Nerve endings are imbedded in feet and hands that then travel to the spinal cord and to various parts of the body. Traditional practitioners believe that stimulating these nerve endings helps to improve circulation, activate Qi(vital energy) in the body and also promotes relaxation and wellbeing.

Gua Sha
Gua Sha is a healing technique used by practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine, in both the clinical setting and in homes. It involves palpation and cutaneous stimulation where the skin is pressured, in strokes, by a round-edged instrument; that results in the appearance of small red petechiae called 'sha', that will fade in 2 to 3 days.
Raising Sha removes blood stagnation considered pathogenic, promoting normal circulation and metabolic processes. The patient experiences immediate relief from pain, stiffness, fever, chill, cough, nausea, and so on. Gua Sha is valuable in the prevention and treatment of acute infectious illness, upper respiratory and digestive problems, and many other acute or chronic disorders.
