I've used all the Sackville road trading estate and Brighton under the arches choices over 100 times in the last 15 years never had a single problem and there very cheap... Sometimes the amount of diesel they give on pick up of say a Transit or Luton can be low but there are 2 petrol stations within a mile so just ask the guy who does the pre damage check which one is on your route.

We hired a car from here 2 years ago was a old car a bit smelly but it was good for the price, will rent one again next time we are in the uk

After a v.expensive 2 day hire of a Skoda citigo I was charged for a license check having booked over the phone - they never mentioned this small print extra during the phone booking. Filthy seats in this car but otherwise it seemed ok. They charge the license check even when on their website they say:
Please also note we can only check your licence with the driver present and between the hours of 8.30 to 5.30 Monday to Friday and 8.30 to 2pm on Saturday, DVLA are closed outside these hours and are closed on Bank Hoildays.
I hired at 4pm on a Saturday!
Also 'overnight charge' of £15 for who knows what if you get stuck in traffic and are 10 minutes after 5pm deadline for bringing the car back.
They are maybe better and more economical for vans. Watch out for hidden costs.

Rented van, had to return it on Sunday. They asked me to leave it roadside. Van got damaged outside of my rental (because they didn't check it in 18hours later)

Money was taken from my account for their mistake BEWARE

Be prepared for a long wait. I stood waiting at the Sackville road branch for over 45 min..

Update. Arrived at 9.15 and it's now 10.51 and we still don't have a van.

Reasonably priced vehicle rental. Staff friendly. Easy process to hire a car.

Everything was OK though some additional communication would have been good
