Choir 2000

Choir 2000 Histon and Impington Community Choir started in 2000 as a Millennium project and kept growing! Membership is open to all - we don't audition; no previous experience required though it does help if you can read music.

Choir 2000 is based in Histon, Cambridgeshire and its members come from many villages and parts of the city of Cambridge too. We perform at least three concerts a year with professional conductor and soloists as well as orchestra and sometimes with local children's choirs and young musicians. Our repertoire ranges across the classical spectrum. We welcome all abilities - we still have no auditions and we have regular voice training for everyone.
