went to offer holder day to help my decision as i live in south Yorkshire and dint know if it was worth the distance away from everyone. however the offer holder day totally help i was able to see what the uni was like but what stratford was like too as there was frequent shuttle buses. the student was also helpful as we got honest answers from them. cant wait to come in September.

User

Went for a campus tour last November/October time, was amazing, the staff were so nice and have kept in touch and been very helpful, looking forward to going to the offer holder day and hope to be accepted come August!:-)

User

Loved it!

User

I went to 2 open days at the uni to see both campuses and thought they were both amazing! And the uni has got very good ratings for my course too. I'm starting this September their and I can't wait!! :)

User

I like the Stratford campus.....do someone knows which days lectures are for criminology and criminal justice???.....

User

I have been on the open and holder day. I am absolutely interested and impressed by the session, lovely and helpful staff and nice environment.

User

I attended the Offer Holder Day event where I enjoyed the taster sessions and talking to existing students who told me about student life the many opportunities given to them at UEL. The further information about the scholarship award and student finance was a real incentive for me to choose UEL as my firm choice to study for my Business and Law degree. Thank you for such a positive thought provoking day .

User

Haven't been there yet but from the stuff am hearing about UEL, i cant went to start in September

"Starting Out" - a month of well organized eye opening meetings, Open Day in November - couldn't feel more welcome, portfolio interview just last week - successful, impressive facilities!!! Next week - exhibition in Docklands Campus. So far - GREAT experience. I can not wait to start in September :)

User

Is anyone starting in September doing graphic designs? Could do with getting to know some people aha

Hello! I'm moving to London in September and will be studying at the Stratford campus. I would like to live in a shared house rather than halls so is anyone looking for a house share or house mate?

User

Student support excellent before you arrive, strangely absent once you actually get there. Course materials (Games design) badly written, full of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors. Assignments indecipherable. Freezer repeatedly broke in the accommodation, lost £60 of food in total over the term. My child gave up on the course after 8 weeks after they went to tutor with concerns to be told 'Oh well, if this subject isn't for you then you should just leave'. After 2 years of studying the subject at BTEC and receiving straight Distinctions! Spectacularly poor course! The minor subject on the other hand (Creative Writing) was engaging, well written, well supported and very high quality. Unfortunately after 8 weeks apparently it was too late to switch courses so my child has now withdrawn completely and has applied to a different university for next September.

User

I wouldnt choose uel again. Not if you want to share the campus with secondary school children left to roam around verbally abuse complete strangers who are FEE paying students!!
