Fancy a kobeda kebab with lots of salt? Fancy bad attitude from staff? If so then this is the place to be. Very poor customer service these clowns think customer service won't get them far

What a discovery!

On a Friday night ordered their signature lamb-pilau dish which came topped with carrots and raisins, with the lamb-on-the-bone steamed to a perfect tender, and a tub of curried lentils with some kind of meatball served in a separate tub to garnish. The lamb is a long-overdue improvement from the tired and chewy cuts found in every Indian takeaway in Preston.

Chopan claims to be 'authentic cuisine' and this is the closest the town has to it; I hope its competitors realise that customers much prefer this home-styled cooking to the uninspired and unvarying dishes they have been doling out for the past 20 years.

The kebabs, too, were a knockout: in the same style as the recently burned-down Sandos on Church Street; also served in a non-bloating flatbread but with a bit more love and attention (coriander in the salad, home-made chilli sauce, etc).

Great value for money. The lamb-pilau dish at £6:50 is easily enough for two, and an additional kebab will keep you and a small child alive for a full 24hrs.

Delivery prompt. Order exact. Delivery dude pleasant.

Finally! A South Asian takeaway in some way representative of the food of its culture, and not mistakenly catering for the imagined preferences of the post-industrial natives that are without one - butter pies, hot pot, fish & chips, notwithstanding.

This place started very well with quality, quantity and staff attitude deteriorating over the months.May be the chef changed? Food is just ok, portions are small and staff attitude is 'we dont really care'.

Placed an Ordered around 7pm and was told it will be ready by 8pm for collection. 8:30pm and was told that tandoor isn't working so can't fulfil my order. Disgraceful behaviour by bunch of people who don't even know how to speak to their customer and are very very rude.
