Preparations for the International Music Competition Harbin in January 2018 are under way. Around 17 April the new website will go online, please visit us at www.imchrb.com.
... These are the application requirements: All material can be uploaded to the competition website. Application deadline is 31 July 2017. Application to IMCH includes the following materials: ● copy of the candidate's ID document (passport); ● biography in English or Chinese (about 100 words) in DOC format; ● 2 color photos in JPG format with a resolution of at least 300 dpi, including one close up photo suitable for publication; ● copy of Diploma(s) of musical education in JPG or PDF format; if no diploma yet existent, the student’s ID of her/his conservatory/school; ● copies of international competition awards in JPG or PDF format; ● a letter of recommendation in JPG or PDF format by the candidate's last teacher. Letters must be written as special recommendation to participate in the IMCH and must include the full address of the recommending person, date and her/his signature ● detailed competition repertory list in DOC format (indicating the key of compositions, their movements/parts, and duration for trial hearing and for the Competition). Changes to the repertory are accepted only before 31 October 2017; ● 20 minute video program, unedited and recorded not before 2015; the repertory of this video is free. The video must be uploaded to Youtube or Youku. Videos are to be taken by one fixed camera without interruption during the performance of one piece of music and show the musician as she/he is seen from the audience. Good quality is much recommended. ● application fee of $ 100,-
