Est. 1960, Chris Kerr is Soho's oldest bespoke tailor.

Chris Kerr and his father, the legendary 'Mr Eddie' have been making bespoke suits in their shop in Soho since the sixties.
Their clothes are the real thing – genuine bespoke suits hand cut by Chris, who creates a unique paper pattern for each client.
The word bespoke is thrown around pretty casually these days, but real bespoke tailors are very rare and tailors with Chris Kerr’s understated and informal approach are rarer still.
While there are no rules – if you want it, Chris will make it - there’s as much advice and guidance on offer as you want.
Every bespoke suit is a collaboration between the tailor and his client, so there’s no question that can’t be asked or doubt that can’t be aired.
Every suit is cut specifically for its owner, so there’s no house style, rather every order starts with a blank sheet of paper.

Detective Inspector Rabbit's Chris Kerr made Victorian costume, as worn by BAFTA winner Matt Berry. It's a 25oz teal dyed wool coat with scarlet needle cord waistcoat and light-weight v-back wool whole-top trousers, all artificially aged to fit the character’s lifestyle. Currently on display in the window at 31 Berwick St, Soho. Year of the Rabbit is on Channel 4, Mondays at 10pm.
