Tiny quiet corner of a new chaotic piece I'm working on. What do you see here ?

'Planets' painting during it's work in progress stages, before the spaceman in the top corner. The smaller painting on the right is the crash test dummy for it. I'll use this canvas to determine the position of each of the flowers and it's brushstrokes before painting on the main piece. I don't usually work so precise but I wanted to paint these with as little brushstrokes as possible, so it worked for this.

Work in progress when I was painting the 'Planets' painting. The smaller canvas on the right is basically the test dummy. Each part of the flowers I'll try to do with 1 brush stroke (or as little as possible) So, that canvas on the right is where I decide the positions of each of the flowers and how to paint them before putting them on the main piece.

Four small season sketchy type paintings. Each one done very quick with very assertive brushstrokes, putting on the paint and just leaving it. Not worked on paintings this small for a while. Things like this also help spark new ideas with colour palettes etc.

Received my 2 prints today “You” “&Me” absolutely love them. Fab quality prints I was worried you wouldn’t get the texture of the oil. I needn’t have worried they look excellent you can really see the texture even though only a print. Just need some decent frames now to do them justice.

I have a few pieces of Chris' work from the days he was selling them on instagram, so a few years ago. It's amazing how far his work has come!





The pieces I have are simply beautiful with so much attention to detail, the quality is simply amazing. To find an artist with such a creative mind for things of my liking and to use objects as his canvas is first class. I haven't bought anything lately but I'm itching to!!

Chris's art is wonderful. I find the worlds he creates beautiful, thought provoking and magical. They aren't depictions of the real world but capture feelings and unexpressed emotions that are inside me.

I have seen a bit of how Chris's art has developed. I am convinced it will only get more interesting in the coming years.
