Chrissie'S Day Out

Chrissie's Day Out was founded to help people with learning difficulties get the most out of life. We aim to provide a safe and fun environment where adults can experience fun activities, whilst making new friends and meeting old ones. We know the value of bringing together people with similar interests and want to create an educational, happy, healthy and social environment for anyone who wants to do more but struggles due to funding. Having grown up around people with learning difficulties we have seen first-hand how happy everyone is when doing fun things together. We want to give the people who join our events a platform of local friends they will be able to stay friends with in years to come. By organising fun days out we hope to give everyone a chance to try new things, learn new skills, and make new friends. Each Day Out will be run by professional carers and people with extensive knowledge around Down's syndrome and other learning difficulties.
