Christ Church Abingdon

Christ Church is an evangelical charismatic Anglican church in the north of Abingdon, founded over 60 years ago. We meet on two sites – in a beautiful old tithe barn on Northcourt Road and in a primary school on the Long Furlong housing estate. We are an evangelical church with an emphasis on Bible-centred ministry and a growing charismatic ministry. We are committed to growing as disciples of Jesus - ‘Being with Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and living for Jesus' and aim to present the good news of Jesus Christ to a needy world through words and actions. We encourage ʻevery-member ministryʼ and hope that all Christians will be enabled to exercise their gifts in the service of Christ and to build up the church.
