Christ Church, North Shields, Tyne and Wear, England is an Anglican church in the parish of North Shields Christ Church, diocese of Newcastle. It has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade II listed building

As a recent visitor said: “It looks stark, imposing and closed from the outside, and it’s bright and airy and open on the inside” That inside is what we are trying to be at Christ Church.

First of all, everyone is welcome, and you can be yourself here. On a Sunday it’s a bunch of ordinary people who come together at different services and events to worship God and learn more about what it means to be a Christian Monday – Saturday. There’s something for everyone, whoever you are – from quiet communion services to family worship and kids activities.
