Christian Smith is a UK based composer and Multi-instrumentalist. Working from his home studio in rural England, Christian uses a unique blend of production elements, and both ambient and orchestral instrumentation to create intense, immersive, narrative driven original scores.

Commercially, Christian has composed music for clients that include The O2, Mercedes, as well as National / International Tourism campaigns on behalf of Visit UK and Visit Faroe Islands. His music most notably featured on a promotional short for his hometown of Portsmouth. This video was played as a part of the International D-Day Commemorations where World Leaders and UK Royalty were in attendance.

Independently, Christian’s compositions have achieved global success. His orchestral and cinematic scores have amassed over 1. 5 million streams and he regularly features in Soundcloud’s viral charts. Indeed ‘Falling Leaves’, one of his most successful compositions, went on to inspire light artist Alaa Minawi’s installation ‘My Light Is Your Light’ at The 2014 Amsterdam Light Festival. The light installation, which portrays the journey of six Syrian Refugees travelling across Europe, has since featured in cities across the globe, spanning three continents.
