User

What a wonderful place. Really enjoyed visit yesterday. I haven't got any small children but was still a great place to visit. Didn't have any problems with traffic. Can't believe that it was nearly going to be closed. Would have been a shame.

User

Went last year and was fantastic price was very reasonable. The queue was not so great. Perhaps have the option of booking online and allocated times to minimise the queuing time?

User

We came this morning at 9.40am

It was lovely and quiet. My 2 kiddies had ana amazing experience, thank you so much and mummy was able to buy some lovely new Christmas lights, decorations and a lovely blossom tree. Thank you will definately be back next year!

User

We brought our 9 month old daughter here on Friday and we thought it was brilliant! Was devastated earlier in the week when you had closed but so pleased you were able to reopen! We didn’t expect to see Santa on the train ride and want to thank him for giving our baby a cuddly penguin instead of a chocolate (although I would have enjoyed the chocolate on her behalf!) thank you to everyone, we will be back next year ~ have a lovely Christmas xxx

User

Took our granddaughter who is nearly 2 it was truly magical for her, her mum and us her grandparents. The thought and wonder and friendliness off all the staff was fantastic keep going merry Christmas to you all.

User

Took my little girl here today and we absolutely loved it. Expected queues after reading other reviews and there were no queues, we had about a 5 minute wait for the train if that. We absolutely loved the Christmas train ride, meeting Santa and seeing real reindeer, plus all the the amazing scenes and characters to look at. Such good value for money, and lovely, helpful, friendly staff to. Would highly recommend it. The shop is also great for Christmas decorations and toys. Bought some lovely bits and such good prices. Would recommend the place for Christmas shopping too! Glad we went x

User

Took my daughter today and we thoroughly enjoyed it, yes the queue is long but that's to be expected and worth it & all the staff were great. Had no trouble parking either. Wrap up warm though and get there early.

User

My husband, 3 children and I went to go on the train Saturday to see santa like we do every year. The kids were so excited. We usually go first thing in the morning to avoid the queue but unfortunately couldn't, when we joined the queue we were told it was over an hours wait, whilst talking to your member of staff we explained that two of our children have autism and that we'd have to come back another day but instead she put us straight on the next train. This small gesture meant so much to us and made what could of been a horrible experience for my children a magical one instead. All the staff were so lovely to them, thank you so much and Merry Christmas.

User

I loved the train and so did my 6 year old son and 2 year old daughter. It was a little pricey for what you got and they could have had a time slot so queues weren't as bad. But it was worth it to see the looks on my children's faces

User

Fantastic magical experience! Very well organised, helpful staff, the perfect santa and a great way to get in the Christmas mood! Perfect for younger kids who can be a little daunted by meeting Father Christmas - thank you!

User

Definitely the place to go for the best Christmas atmosphere!! Hopefully the Scrooge’s will let this place stay open!! Ba humbug to them!

I love the old vintage carousel and our three year old loved the train, Father Christmas and not forgetting the singing reindeer!!

User

We went last year and waited over two hours at the weekend. So we did a week day after school this time and only waited about 45 mins. Lovely place only thing that let it down was the toilets were shut. Im pregnant and had my 5 yr daughter with me and squatting behind the toilet was not ideal

User

We visited today 2 adults, our 3 year old son & 6 month old daughter. Our son visits with his grandparents every Xmas & he really enjoys it. We decided to go back today as we had to exchange something he had brought on his last visit.

Today we headed straight for the train & we were surprised there wasn’t a big q & the place in general was not busy at all which was gd.

I thought the train was great & a lot of effort & work has gone into the scenery you see whilst on the train. There are also reindeers to see at the start.

I thought santa was a bit rude in how he spoke to us telling me to hurry up & take a photo as they were running late. Not the sort of thing I would expect santa to say. Especially in front of the children. He didn’t really have any time to talk to us.

My son likes the dancing bears, carousel & looking round at all the decorations & lights.

The snack/food bar could do with a bit more variety of food. The only hot food you could buy was hot dog (which had sold out by 1230) & jackets pots & soup.

The car park could do with some work as was very un even with pot holes & very wet.

Overall we all enjoyed our visit

User

Had a lovely time yesterday on the Santa Express. My son absolutely loved his time here. No issues with parking or traffic but it was around 3:45pm when we arrived. It was very cold but then I guess being in the North Pole it would be

User

Came yesterday and manage to park easily. Ok the queue is long for Santa’s train said about 1 hour from where we starting to queue but it was actually 1hr 40 mins. However well worth it. The train ride was a lovely way to seeing Santa and all the effort put in was great. Plus I never realise how big u guys are, certainly be coming back again much earlier next year to purchase xmas decs.

User

lovely garden centre which gets you into the xmas spirit. have to get there early as possoble to avoid queing for the train to see santa. nice little train ride but son is allergic to milk products so a chocolate santa was very disappointing as was the price considering. if your child has allergies avoid!

User

Took our 3 boys here today! Was really looking forward to it as there has been so much hype about it! Wasn’t overly impressed! The car park was flooded, and we were covered in mud. Also as we entered, the floor inside was soaking wet and slippery, so dangerous. Train ride and seeing Santa was good but kids were disappointed they only got a chocolate Santa not a toy. I feel your venue isn’t fully ready for a huge foot fall of general public. Considering your advertising on tv, radio etc you going to busy but need to be more prepared!

User

I enjoyed looking at the tree decorations. There is every colour that you can think of. Some parts aren't so interesting - a wall full of gift bags...I appreciate that some parts are outside and just covered for the weather but the entrance area was so cold. It was just too cold to sit and have coffee. Also - please sort the pot holes in the parking area. They really need filling in!

User

We have been going every year since it’s opened, and we have been supporters. We went today and there wasn’t a long queue, which was a wonderful surprise. However, the driver drove so fast we could hardly see any of the displays and could not see the live reindeer. It felt as if he was trying to get to the end as soon as possible. It spoiled our whole experience and we probably won’t be back
