I was delighted this year, to be a judge at this years Fair, and have been very bust eating Cheese today. Many Cheeses in the deli were found at last years fair and their are some amazing treats in stall this year.

What an absolute gem! Staff are fantastic and friendly, the food on sale is out of this world and the variety is brilliant. How many shops can I say this about? None. Brilliant place! Well done Simon!

What a lovely shop! Loved the new vegan smoked ‘Chease’ (Tyne Chease ) that I bought. Looking forward to trying my smoked tofu and spinach pie tomorrow evening. Great shop, packed full of tasty products! Was just back from Milan when I popped in, but who needs Italy with Delis like this locally?! Excellent!!!

The sticky toffee cheese in the red wax is delicious! Sounds like an odd combination but it works, yummy with crackers and chutney, a must for cheese and sticky toffee pudding lovers everywhere and a good price aswell

Purchased a chunk of Barkham Blue today promised a review. Quite simply yum yum if you like blue cheese with a creamy but crumbly texture this is perfect for you. Simply delicious.

My husband came in for a little inspiration on what to create for tea. Simon helped out with sourdough crostini and carrot cake which were both absolutely delicious. Very impressed with the service. Thank you Simon Fairey! Will be back soon x

I've never actually made it to the deli itself, but thankfully Simon sets his stall out at various food fairs near me. The service is always excellent and very friendly and the food is fantastic. My two young sons are very fussy about their sausage rolls and Simon's are the best. The main draw for a non-meat eater like me is the cheese. Even at a local fair there's always a fantastic selection and if I can have a Christmas cheese board entirely stocked from the deli I'll be a happy woman!

First time visit to Queens Road and what a little gem of a place! Packed to the rafters with delicious loveliness! Place looked great, smelt lovely and food was fabulous!

Fantastic service and staff, even better cheese! I was served by someone who gave brilliant advice and was really patient with me, even when I changed my mind last minute. Will be coming back for more cheese soon!

Everything I've had there was excellent, and the staff are knowledgeable. I love being able to pre-order my loaves of sourdough too. I've had a variety of cheeses and meats, and even experimented with their black garlic. Everything has a top quality taste, wonderful on its own, or combined to make a delicious dish.



I'd love to see something like a loyalty or discount card for either purchasing so many loaves of bread, or getting 10% off when purchasing a loaf of bread and 100g+ of meat or cheese. I would definitely use that kind of card!

Dropped into the deli this afternoon for the 1st time, lovely experience friendly staff I tried Simon's salmon & Parmesan tart delicious plenty of flavour, also we brought some Bakewell tart this was delicious we will be definitely go back soon.

Brilliant local Deli. We had Simon provide a buffet lunch for us at work and it was extremely tasty, lots to go round and excellent quality.



Would recommend anyone in the area to pop in, you won’t be disappointed!

Awesome deli, friendly service. Along with the standard items you expect to see in a deli, Simon also sources some of the more exotic and unusual items. He also serves amazing coffee! And do you need external catering? Simon will work with you to create a picnic or a birthday lunch to suit your requirements and budget. We're lucky to have such a store in our neighbourhood.

As we had friends for the weekend we went to see Simon and bought a selection of dips, savouries and cheeses. These included baba ghanoush, carrot and traditional humus, spinach and goats cheese pastries, vegetable samosas, Red Leicester and goats cheese. Everything was absolutely delicious and our friends loved it all! Thank you, Simon. We will be back in very soon xxx

An excellent selection of foods for all tastes and diets. I normally hate vegan cheese and miss the taste so much, but the Tyne Chease stuff is beautiful in both taste and texture! I can't believe how good it is! The brownies and almond bakewells are heaven sent as are the pakoras and vegetable samosas. Very pleasant and helpful staff. It's a great going in there!

Absolutely fantastic! Had a wine and cheese evening so went in to get help on a selection. We wanted variety of flavour and texture with some unusual cheeses and a few classics. Simon was extremely helpful and patient and what we received was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back in for cheese and other deli needs. Although it's very hard to resist naughty treat temptations as well, even walking past their window! I highly recommend the brownies ������ thanks again and look forward to popping in again soon.
