Went in for the usual Fish and Chips... Whilst waiting and whilst being friendly and chatty asked me to try the Gyro... All I can say is wow, it's not a dry processed flavourless meat but full of flavour, with the herbs and seasoning coming through whilst still moist... I will definitely have that next time..

Then when home for the fish, once again cooked to order and a great experience. Will be back soon �

Tonight I have eaten Mixed Gyro - ( Chips, tomato, onions, *lettuce, tzatziki, pitta bread ) its was yummy & tasty too so I recommend Christos Grill 😋



Tonight again I Gone Greek : Pork gyro, chicken gyro, pork skewer, chicken skewer, chips, tomato, onion, lettuce, pitta bread, tzatziki :)

Such amazing Gyros, I worked in Crete when I was younger and basically lives on Gyros, we had some delivered earlier and it was like stepping back in time! Authentic Greek Gyros and amazing chips too! Will definitely order again!

Recommend it without any hesitation. Great portion of gyros or souvlaki with really nice chips and sauce of your choice. Delivery on time and generally excellent customer service. If you want to taste Greek food, this place is the ideal one . ���

Really tasty food and good portion size. The staff are really lovely and provided really good service. Didn't have to wait too long either. Nice atmosphere. I'm a vegetarian and really enjoyed the halloumi wrap and Greek salad. 👍🏼👍🏼

I am glad I visited this place and tried both chicken and pork gyros because they were both amazing!! This is whats been missing from Colchester and I am glad I found it!! I highly recommend it! I will definitely visit again.

I am a VERY fussy eater, but my husband and I ate here today and we were very pleased indeed with our meal.

The meal size was huge, the pitta bread was delicious and it was cut I to to 4 pieces making it far easier to eat and the staff were very friendly indeed.

Having spent many years living in Germany and Holland and holidaying in Greece we ‘Love’ Gyros! We recently moved to Essex and have come across this fabulous place in Colchester. The Gyros is so delicious and very authentic. My Husband and I loved it so much we’ve taken our visiting Daughters and Son in law to try it to. They also thoroughly enjoyed it. Christos is so welcoming and the service is impeccable! We will be visiting Christos, his staff and his fab restaurant many many more times.

Had a fabulous lunch today with my daughter, a little Greek music and I could have been transported to a Greek taverna .

For years i have wished for a gyro in colchester.

Along came christos grill.

My second home is corfu , greece , so now whenever i need a reminder of greece i know where to go!

Finally found the best greek food in Essex... and on our doorstep too... Thank you Christos for the best Souvlaki and Gyros!!

Excellent ! Real Greek food! I took a chicken souvalaki pitta home to my husband, he loved it! Just like the real thing from Greece. We will be back for more! I am recommending Christos Grill to all my friends and family....

Cracking atmosphere, lovely friendly staff, had fantastic pork spyro in pitta bread and it was delicious, will be back very soon

Best Gyros. Had one and now I come in once every week.

We had the souvlaki in the Pitta bread and enjoyed the meal Chris made a beeftaki souvlaki which beats the burgers from other places well done all , authentic Greek takeaway in Colchester cant be bad!
